Out of contract in the summer , would you give him a new one?

It's a definite yes for me. If the medical staff are doing their job (big if) they will have him on a program that is gradually strengthening his muscles. Just based on the evidence we have, he can contribute 60 mins per week even without further strengthening. Next year he may be abled to do 90.

What we should be doing is signing a new first choice (maybe Larin will work out and we don't need to??) and using Ross as alternate, with a youngster as 3rd choice CF. The alternative of replacing Ross with a new, equally good signing, PLUS signing a new first choice would be very expensive and I can't see that happening, whatever league we're in.

Agree.

Bree also out of contract at the end of the season. Nathan Jones will be all over that.
