I always buy through topcashback, it's cheap as chips when you get the cashback. You'll get full European cover with no excess for about £50.

I've never needed to call emergency assist but the reviews are good. I've used covermybreakdown for repair and they were as good as previous RAC call outs.

Before Covid when I used to drive abroad I used Green Flag. They were about half the price of the AA.

Yes I was told about Red Pennant , though we have a caravan , its just us and the car for on this trip.
