Probably still is in Ireland. I jest it became legal in 1993 only 26 later than forward looking UK

You can’t defend this one Killy,you just cannot. It is fact.
Insularity defined
Rural and village people are utterly different from Urbanites,hence,people from small villages had a different outlook on life as they were confined literally .
Please don’t suggest homosexuality was considered ok in Welsh villages . | |
