Stuart James is a bit of a div but he's right here. A decision making chain that requires so many people to agree won't work.
If Winter is in charge of the club then Winter needs to make these decisions. If ownership has no confidence in him then he needs to be replaced. At the moment we seem to have a bit of a mish mash.
Things seemed to work a lot smoother when Birch was in charge so perhaps it's a personality problem. |  |

Like I said, James is a bit of a div.
Football clubs ultimately are no different than any other business. The more complicated the decision making process, the less things get done.
Historically the current ownership have tended to let club management get on with things. Perhaps not so wisely with Jenkins, better with Birch. It's only really since Winter was in charge that things have become convoluted. If they trust him enough to be in charge, then they need to trust him enough to make the calls that matter. | |
