The name Azeem Abdulai will not be known to every Swansea City follower, in fact it was met with surprise when he was linked to numerous Premier League clubs in the week. It would have been easy to replicate a link to Daily Mail sports journalist Adam Shergold’s story on the player, not least the odd - but not that surprising comparison to one Jude Bellingham at Borussia Dortmund. 1

I often malign agents and I'm not sure I misunderstand them. They are all too often another bunch of greedy, self serving predators.

They act in their own interests spreading lies and misinformation. The secret footballer had qute a bit to say about this. Did it turn out to be Kitson, I don't remember!

Anyway, we only have to look at Emiliano Sala and all the nonsense that's happened around that which we can attribute quite a bit of, to the agents involved.

Many different facets to an agents scope these days.

We as a website wouldn’t function as well without them. Yes, there are some rogues but in general they work for the best interests of their clients. Clubs are always hiring agents to do their work for them.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Yep and those agents are very well paid. When you say some rogues, I don't know how many are but some of the most well known have been very dodgy, does Tutumulu fit that description?

Jenkins had his fingers burnt when he started depending on agents, with player after player arriving at High Street station, and all to be sent back. So many trialists taking the place of youngsters already in the academy with the faint hope that one or two would be offered professional contracts after being released by their parent club. Brydges from PSG, Paljk from Slovenia, Plezier from Holland, Celina's younger brother and Jordan Aina, just a handful who actually had games, so many didn't. Ebereci Eze was also a trialist who didn't impress.

the story doing the rounds during Laudrup's reign prior to the start of his second season at the Liberty was that Tutumulu wanted to take control of all of the player recruitment. Quite tempting after the success of Laudrup's first season but with the Swans having their own scouting department on the monthly wage bill, Jenkins quite rightly said no.

Unfounded in the main. Not standing up for him, no need to, I actually turned doesn’t the chance to write his book.

I didn’t think it would sell.
