They don’t write them like this anymore ! 20:33 - Dec 13 with 553 viewsKeithHaynes

The drama of musical change from the sixties to the early nineties.

Am I getting old, but I’m thinking they don’t write them like they used to.

From 1960’s Status Quo to the Manchester scene.
From Slade ( especially during their skinhead years ) to Motörhead.
The punk explosion that kicked the world right in the backside.

All those xmas songs.

Where did it all go 😂

Far to many charity and gimmicky songs not forgetting the X factor years, natural talent didn't have a chance. Hopefully we have moved on and the cream will come to the top again.

I recall reading that Simon Cowell bought the company that made top of the pops then immediately dissolved it.
