I know that we are looking for a head coach not a manager but surely a head coach should have some input on transfers?

Otherwise you can end up with players that don't fit into what the coach wants to do and don't get picked or force a coach into trying to make a team out of the players he has been given. Surely there has to be a balance between what a coach would like and what he gets?

Am I missing something?
