| TNS draw in UECL on 15:03 - Aug 30 with 743 views | AnotherJohn | I'd say this is a good draw. There are some games where a result is not impossible, plus the glamour game against Florentina. The six games should give a big boost to TNS finances. Their Park Hall ground is a lot better than it was and okay for European games. I wouldn't be surprised to see this run encourage them to improve the side opposite the The Venue/long stand. | | | |

Welsh club : Was it the Swans who last played Panathinaikos in a European tie ?

Bet you know all the details already, but they beat us 6-5 on aggregate in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup over the two legs in 1989/90. I'm not quite sure of your question, but we were the last Welsh club they played. I suppose they are a big fish too with an extensive record of European football. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/

Early bet most goals ever conceded in a European away game in Italy. Other than that this will be a sound platform for the welsh leagues to keep growing.

First club from Northern Ireland to get to the group stage of a European competition, so their's is a similar achievement to that of TNS. I suppose the Conference competition has made this more possible.
