| Where is boris? on 10:39 - Nov 1 with 573 views | onehunglow | He buggered whatever he does.Nobody in south Wales would ever give a Tory any credit at all.Read e pauls polemic in another thread. Boris is between a rock and a hard place. On one hand has clowns like Piers Corbyn refusing masks, distancing pubs closing etc and those wanting an earlier harsher lockdown. A classic lose lose scenario. I feel for him . His worst mistake was assuming we have common sense when clearly we have not. Penny not dropped even now. End class war Hey,let's see Premier league footballers ,social heroes like Rashford donate 50% of their salary to fund NHS and Care Homes. | |

Hats off to rashford ,Gareth bale and Gary lineker for being so charitable. A lot of people have anti Tory views in South wales. Because of what they done during the miners strike. I see they have pardoned the Scottish miners by the way. Have the Tories got good support in liverpool?
| Where is boris? on 11:11 - Nov 1 with 555 views | onehunglow | Liverpool huge Labour area and full of class warriors like you. It s also full of people who cannot move forward and vote as they dad/granddad did. Miners strike? Yep,passed down from the mother' breast Why do you refer to fellow working class people as bin dippers or martyrs.? People vote Tory too because their dad/granddad di. Equally dumb | |

I am working class, but I'm no warrior or a bully. And have never called anyone a bin dipper. Couple of my mates were in the battle of orgeaves and told me some horrific stories. They are not to keen on the Tories either. But it's a democratic country and that is the law of the land.

They should be anti Scargill he called them out on strike without giving them the option of a vote. He was not interested in miners he was supposed to represent he just used them as disposables casualties in his war to bring down a democratically elected government he was ideologically opposed to.

| Where is boris? on 14:31 - Nov 1 with 517 views | onehunglow | Scargil, for those brought up with anti police /tory hatred was wanting to keep ALL pits open whether or not they were safe or economic or not -just to sate his Yorkshire based chums;a man wanting men to continue crawling on their bellies in filth to make a living. Pits closing was the best thing that ever happened. Let the Chinese or Indians do the job . Not reinvesting in mining areas big time was Thatcher' poisonous legacy. | |

Not quite true. What a lot people did not realise,is that scargill had a mandate from An earlier vote they had got strike action if that her went ahead with her pit closure plan. But Thatcher was clever and told the Nottingham miners, that she would keep Their pits open if the broke the mandate of the strike. Obviously she was lying, but she done the job of putting minor against minor. Divide and conquer. A bit like brexi t today.Divide the country..
| Where is boris? on 18:04 - Nov 1 with 462 views | onehunglow | and that is not true north. Speak to a Notts mining family and see how they aw things. Scargill's main aim was to overthrow Thatcher and democracy. When you see ANYONE who voted Conservative as "scum", you should get the drift. | |

I don't care who voted conservative. People are entitled to vote for who they like. I just saying what my mate who was a miner in South Wales told me. He was not to keen on the Nottingham miners for some reason And I don't call people bit dippers or scum [Post edited 1 Nov 2020 18:16]

| Where is boris? on 09:48 - Nov 2 with 404 views | YrAlarch | Going back to Boris. There must be concerns over the true state of his health, in particular the extent of his recovery from his bout of Covid-19. Perhaps Cummings, with his perfect sight, is actually running the country. | | | |
