Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Just another example of China's human rights abuse. Invasion of Tibet, 1,000,000 muslims put into concentration camps, trying to claim the territorial waters of its' neighbouring countries. Illegal trade in ivory, rhino horn, shark fins. The list is endless.

Which doesn't really make sense. If we stopped the Chinese juggernaut then there would be bsiness opportunities elsewhere.

A lot of stuff coming out of China is poor quality, often counterfeit but it's dirt cheap so people buy it. Amazon sell a lot of Chinese goods. These corporate giants only care about evermore profit and don't give a seconds thought to the harm being done.

Probably the same people who complain about the loss of UK manufacturing are more that happy buying cheap, fake dangerous Chinese goods.

Sometimes you don't have a choice, I recently bought from the main dealer (BMW) a pair of door seals for an old car of mine. As you'd expect they weren't cheap but needed so I bit the bullet and handed over just shy of £500 .When they arrived with the obligatory packaging part number BMW logo etc but also with the added pleasure of reading they were made in China. Even so called high companies are out sourcing manufacturing so what's the hope for the rest of the smaller companies .

You are correct our companies have to pay minimum wages. I doubt the Chinese workers get anything like that so they can always undercut UK and EU manufacturing.

So the EU and the USA...and us....need to have a trade ban on Chinese goods then! It'll never happen.

When they used to say "beware the yellow peril" they didn't really think the weapon would be manufacturing.
