Re - new WBA manager
He wrote, “West Brom should go for Swansea boss Steve Cooper now Sam Allardyce is going.
“If the Swans don’t get promoted, that’s where I’d look if I was West Brom. Cooper has done a great job there.
“And he would have more of a chance of getting West Brom promoted next season than he would Swansea.”

He may be right about the chances of promotion, relegated clubs have that first season to get straight back up before the financial realities start to bite. After tat it gets gradually harder though and you could end up like Weds and Derby, looking at an EFL investigation for FFP breaches.
The problem for them is the style of football Allardyce had them playing, Coops does it differently and practically the entire squad would need an overhaul.
Apparently Chris Wilder is also in the frame, I reckon he'd suit them more.
