Thor won because he decided to lay off the heavier mass building weight poundage's and went on a diet thus resulting in 60 Kilo muscle/weight loss. He decided that his priorities were to learn boxing techniques by focusing far more on boxing/stamina/cardio vascular fitness.

Eddie Hall seemed desperate to keep his muscular bulk which may be O.K. for having the extra weight behind a wild swinging K.O punch but that hampered boxing technique/speed/stamina/cardio vascular fitness.

Eddie just could not let go of ego and lose hard gained muscle mass whilst he distracted valuable time and effort on non-boxing training so he could keep his impressive bulk. His time would have been better spent learning boxing. After all he was not expected to do a squat, deadlift or bench press during the fight.

exactly, I used to watch his youtube Vids, but he gets right on my nerves now, all he did was chase his trainer around the ring slinging haymakers to the pads he was holding etc, he's no boxing trainer, he'd make a decent one cry.
