Im glad the bout didn't go ahead to be honest, it was farcical for both boxers, Eubank Jr dropping 10lb or whatever and Benn having to gain weight probably would have taken its toll at some point especially if it had gone into the latter rounds, Eubank would have virtually had nowhere to go if he had lost and Benn's career would have hit the wall and a struggle to regain where he was.
If Benn had been taking drugs then he was a fool and may have been badly advised, they say that the drug he is accused of taking can or does mask steroid use, 2yr ban at least and it could be a long road back to, assuming he can get back, I had hopes for him especially as I was growing up throughout his fathers reign and used to enjoy watching him. |  |
