Four Swansea City academy players have been selected to represent Wales Under-17s in the upcoming Uefa European Championship Elite Round.

Craig Knight's squad recently completed a week-long training camp in Israel in February. Playing two back-to-back friendlies against their age-grade international side.

Swansea City Under-18s' top scorer Iwan Morgan scored five goals in two games, to ensure the Welsh squad were unbeaten in Shefayim, Israel. Teammates Sam Parker, Jacob Cook, Kit Margetson and Ewan Griffiths also featured.

Meanwhile, Cook and Griffiths were part of the Wales Under-17 squad that advanced to the elite round of qualifying for the 2023 European Championship with a series of impressive displays in Croatia in November 2022.

Wales have been drawn in Group 2 alongside Scotland, Montenegro and Iceland and the Elite Round ties will take place in Newport with all three matches available to watch on the FAW's Facebook and YouTube channels.

Swansea City players: Iwan Morgan, Sam Parker, Jacob Cook and Kit Margetson.

FAW are useless. I have seen a few of these games and they attrack a few hundred each game. South Wales fans are being short changed with the behind closed doors attitude. Is it too much trouble?
