Wales u21 less than the sum of their parts. 20:01 - Oct 13 with 529 viewsReslovenSwan1

Wales u21 have now been unbeaten in three tough away games. Denmark, Czechia and Lithuania. Playing away is traditionally tough for all Welsh teams. Colwill was the laid back presence and driver.

The Welsh team has some pretty tastey prospects but Matt Jones has them playing a disjointed low possession pseudo hoofball. When will we seen a slick Welsh team? Midfielders delivering the ball into space in attacking positions.

Sloppiness is ingrained in Welsh football covered over with semi decent results like this one. Congreve who is a slick play not involved. Good passing exists only without pressure in their own half.

Pat Jones with his serious gas and skill brought Wales back into the game. Star man Colwill never got the ball high up i the field were he would cause panic and had to come deep. Wales u21 do not do a high press while the u17 do a super high press under Craig Knight.

Cymru needa technical style over lord to pull things together so we can see some slick football. It came for a fleeting 6 month spell under Gary Speed.

I enjoy watch Swansea u21 much more than Wales u21 which has one or two Swansea players. They look much better coached to me.

Cian Ashford scored a 90 +5 equaliser knocking back in a punched clearance form a long ball. Josh Thomas was through on goal but panicked.
