The four year deal is to bring it in line with English Rugby changing their league with extra clubs, probably 2 from Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Cardiff will obviously be one that is why they WRU are holding on to them for a better price when they are in the new league. Newport will go and it will be one team in the West. How much of this is down to the WRU realising that if they dropped the Ospreys they would go it alone into the English system outside the WRU.
