Middle class failed musicians living a life of lies whilst bleating BS. I remember some years ago a Guardian report that mental health affects this demographic more than any other due to their failures. ‘Whilst they stare at what they really want to be but haven’t the talent, their trapped lives too safe to be brave’ (Lemmy) A life of failed attempts and playing to five people in a local pub takes its toll. Look at them closely, we all know them.
For me the whole thing is a filthy mess. But I do love to see these failures being one of many who have toured the world, sold records across the planet. It must be so painful for them who can’t. Not being brave is a very poor trait, and it eats them alive.
