Took daughter to the the qpr game and she wanted a swans key ring to go on her school bag.
Went to pay and was told I had £45 credits on my account. I didn’t realise. She came home with a new kit which I had in effect already paid for. |

Thread | How and why did we start following the swans.

Not sure if this has been done before but I’ll start.
Started as a family thing with me. Dad worked continentals, so took me to the swans when he could. Because of this, it was my grandfather and uncle who instilled the true passion for the swans in me and took me along what seemed like every Saturday. Sitting in the centre stand. My grandfather used to say he’d had the same seat since the 2nd world war. With his name on it I used to believe it. Now for me it’s still a family thing, dad, uncle, cousin, nephews etc. It’s my daughters first game against QPR and at the age of 5 she can’t wait. Hopefully, another generation of swans fans started. I have Also gained so many good mates by following the swans through the good and mainly the bad times.

I’ve had a quote from a sparky which is more than I expected. Taking the wording directly from the quote it’s for consumer unit upgrade - fusebox branded consumer unit with Spd and RCBOs- replace back box - x 2 units - £680 plus vat.
I don’t have much of an idea about these things but does this sound reasonable? If it is then fine it is what it is but I was initially led to believe that it would be no more than a couple of hundred?
PS - it’s a property I rent out and the quote will also include undertaking the new electronic testing requirements that now need to be undertaken in wales ( it was during the said testing that it was deemed that the above work was necessary).
All thoughts appreciated.

Currently on hols in Greece. Purchased a match day pass for the Preston game . When purchasing I didn’t change my settings so still registered as accessing from Carmarthen. Will this be a problem when I come to watch the live stream? |

Just watching a re-run of escape to victory. Can anybody name the swan to be that appeared in that film?
For a bonus point, what team did he make his debut against for the swans?
