A digression, forgive me..just wondered how many people on this thread went to Latymer? I had assumed I was the only one to have suffered the communal muddy baths after the end of games at the wood lane ground. Mind you I did leave in 78, and I'm not sure if health and safety had been invented then.
Anyway, it would be great if that ground became the new stadium...and I think the headteacher at Latymer is an Rs fan so we might get a good deal. 😉
Very sorry to hear about your loss. These will be very difficult days for you and the family, I am sure. However, keep strong for, in due course, time being the healer it is, you will find that the sadness lifts and will be replaced by happier memories of the times that you spent with your dad. Just seen that the club have released seven women players. What is the current state of health of the set up for women at QPR? Are we under or over performing for a club of our size? And is the release of so many players simply par for the course? Just wondered...

I read with intereston the forum, and some surprise, that the FFP regulations seem not to apply in league one. I got the impression that this might be a good thing (given our imbalanced financial situation).
Then I started thinking about other financial implications relating to a further loss of income. I was looking at the average attendance figures in league 1, so I am sure this will have an impact. My memory is a bit blurred here, but I did not think home atttendances dropped by more than a couple of thousand per game last time we were down in the doldrums- maybe I am wrong- but that will also be significant over a season. And there are merchandise sales and TV revenues of course. So, even if our owners continue to pour money into the club, does anyone have a sense of what the implications of the financial hit would be if we did get relegated?
(Cheaper tickets would be nice, but I suspect that is wishful thinking!)
