Feels like chalk and cheese and a recognition of what Marti has achieved so far, Brighton and Spurs would not want to come if we played hoof ball. It’s all part of a bigger picture but all these little things must make potential joiners stand up and take note well as getting potential leavers to possibly think again ( sorry I am a Willy fan). |

Just seen “ I really want to stay” farewell message from Issac Hayden. Lots of debate on this thread but the tight defence is also down to his contribution as well as others ( apart from Wednesday goal) . Him Sam and Colback as 2 from 3 each week has been and can continue to be a positive. |

Our plumber is a Reading fan and can’t believe we didn’t get Lewis Wing as he is way too good for that division and leading scorer in League one for goals scored from outside the box. They have had a tough season and like us think they have won the golden goose by not going down. |

Oh Clive so spot on, I sit where I used to sit with my dad ( I’m 61) next to Paul and his sons. Their eyes were glowing we said to them remember you were here when this happened. C&S rocking after ( surprised the neighbours didn’t complain), best Friday for such a long time. Who says we haven’t got the basis for a really good team, the balance of who we want to keep and have to sell could be really tough. JCS and Cook ( Beale and Ainsworth signings) are just monster, we should put them in cotton wool and play the reserve keepers at centre half next week. I know a lot of doubters but if we could keep Willy I believe this manager will cuddle him enough to get the best. What a night for my team |

Kenneth Paal just seemed nervous right from the start, maybe extra pressure of knowing your place isn’t as secure as it was, Millar was tearing him apart.
Cook and JCS have to be up there with the best centre half pairings in the league.

Ever the optimist and assuming we don’t fall off a cliff with the worst set of results in the final 2 games. I am assuming Marti watches the development squad with interest, hoping Kolli fit at the start of the season ( what injury did he get?) and some others must be knocking on the door. I think this is where potentially Marti will shine. As I say ever the optimist but the development squad have an winning mentality and goals within them. Saw the note about Willock staying if we stay up, anyone know if that has any element of fact? |

Spot on also despite his lack of pace he was tracking back. Best passer in the team by miles, he more times he plays the more chances the rest of the guys get on his wavelength |

Despite the Wednesday game and Plymouth look at the league table and over the last 5 games we have accumulated more points than anyone around us, in fact only Brizzle in 12th have accumulated more before u get to Boro in 9th. Amazing considering we can’t score and does show consistency and hard to beat. Looking at the 6 pointers wonder whether we already potentially have enough after all the results went our way, surely 49 would have been enough. Our weekend starts Friday with Plymouth Leicester. |

For my sins I used to be a keeper and it’s a real Hero or Zero position even to the point you can be a hero for 89 minutes and all people will remember is one mistake. I had the pleasure of being at the Swansea end the other Monday and they were berating him for being a hero. Saying that he obviously completely misjudged the cross thinking he could easily catch the ball, terrible mistake but if he made as many mistakes as the guys up front we would have lost. Hoping we make a play for the Rotherham keeper pre-season, he was berating himself btw, been there done that. He will be feeling sh1t |
