Ennio Morricone - RIP
at 14:06 6 Jul 2020

Saw the Maestro 18 months ago at the O2 in London absolutely magnifico!
The Ecstasy Of Gold is the greatest piece of cinematic music ever written along with his piece "Your Love" from Once Upon A Time In The West.
God Bless Ennio you and Sergio are truly what cinema should be about.

Propaganda - A Secret Wish, one of the best albums of the 80's, and after waiting nearly 35 years saw them live last year in Bournemouth O2 supporting Heaven 17 (who were also excellent)

And where exactly is the money for regeneration of Swansea going to come from?
As I stated before, Liverpool benefitted from £2 billion being thrown at it from winning Europe city of culture which created up to 14,000 new jobs around the city.
If Swansea had won the 2017 UK city of culture then there would of been serious investment and job creation for the area. The city that did win Hull, expects to create 7,500 new jobs and have £200 million investment.

If Swansea received the somewhat £2 billion investment that Liverpool had for its European city of culture award then we all would be saying what a fabulous place Swansea is to live. Nothing to do with what councillors you have.
Same happened to Glasgow when it won in 1990, the investment transformed the city.

One of the best cities in Europe!
Plenty to see and do but I suggest to get a small guide book. Visit the El Rastro market on the sunday morning. For eating (and drinking) visit one of the museo del jamon restaurants and try a raciones of jamon - superb - or try their daily menu for only 10 euro.
