I'd be the same if I was the Calais police; I'd be helping them onto the dinghies! It's soft touch Britain that is causing the problem in Calais. No wonder the police there hate us!

Agree. Vigs is nailed to the goal line, so something needs to change. Fisher has taken his chances well, especially the penalty shoot-out in the Caraboa Cup. He deserves his shot in the league.

Indeed, the atmosphere around the ground was very nervy last night. An opening goal and the crowd would have come alive. Hopefully we'll score first against Oxford and Portsmouth.

The green shoots being the first 30 minutes. It was always going to be a case of who scores first, wins. That first 30 minutes was total dominance without really troubling their keeper. Derby then have a good 2 minute spell and score. Our final ball into the box was very poor, but their cross was spot on. Fine margins and we are on the wrong end of them at the moment.

Exactly with Vigouroux. The example is at 57 minutes. A long ball through where LV has a 15 yard advantage on the forward. He comes a few steps, dithers, can't make his mind up, then goes back to the goal line to wait for the shot. great stop as he parries it for the corner. That corner then sails through the 6 yard box and we were lucky that Derby didn't get a head on it, but again the keeper fails to come for the cross. It's frustrating.

It was his 300th game for the Swans apparently. Maybe that was why?

Matos is being assisted by Joe Allen and Leon Brittain at the moment, so there is plenty of knowledge of the league there.

We tried Sam Parker and it didn't work. Things got even worse when we tried Galbraith there. Maybe Josh Key isn't as bad as everyone thinks. Maybe the managers are right?

Ironically, the hospitality chef is called Curtis. Yes, he was in the Alan Curtis lounge! Unfortunately gone to them up the road as 1st team chef. The staff are employed by Constellation, the same as them up the road, Birmingham, Leicester etc. They are the ones who moved him.

That second goal was Vigs ball all day long. Nailed to the line again, another free ball in the 6 yard box.

Next 3 home games are the important ones against fellow strugglers. Today was a free hit. I think we'll be at full strength on Tuesday night.

It's also reported elsewhere. Vitor Matos club have issued a press statement saying the million euros release clause does exist. They also say it has to be paid upfront. Whether is does actually exist is another matter, but the club have made those statements. So the WOL report is correct.
Now the twist. It's also reported elsewhere that the Swans wanted to make the payment in stages. That has been rejected. This has got some more miles in it yet.
