1-0 down. Hope Arsenal stick a few more past them.

For some reason the premier league thought that giving a hugely important relegation battle to an inexperinced referee was a good idea - he could have refereed the Chelsea or Southampton games tonight if they wanted to give him some experience of the top flight without directly affecting the title race or relegation battle.
For some reason we're always the guinea pigs with these refs and every single time they manage to screw us over - from Attwell letting H&W kick our players off the park to Linnington's complete loss of control in that farcical league cup game against Scunthorpe, Madley doing everything but throw the ball into the net to equalise for Stoke and now this set of officials that have managed to get just about every single decision wrong.
Is it because we're seen as an easy team to ref because we're (generally) not interested in deliberately fouling the other team? Because they know the ref's not going to be surrounded by all our players whenever he makes a controversial decision? Whatever the reason I'm completely fed up of them ruining our matches.

We're in the bottom three. Hopefully Man Utd can follow Chelsea's lead and stick a few past Norwich.
|Upgrade season ticket seat to adult?|

I know that you can pay to upgrade a child/OAP seat to an adult ticket for one game by going to the ticket office. Can this be done on the day of the game or do I need to do it in advance?

From 4pm on sky sports news, who does everyone fancy?
Pot one: Germany, Belgium, Holland, Romania, England, Wales, Portugal, Spain, Croatia.
Pot two: Italy, Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, France, Iceland, Denmark, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Pot three: Poland, Ukraine, Scotland, Hungary, Sweden, Albania, Northern Ireland, Serbia, Greece.
Pot four: Turkey, Slovenia, Israel, Republic of Ireland, Norway, Bulgaria, Faroe Islands, Montenegro, Estonia.
Pot five: Cyprus, Latvia, Armenia, Finland, Belarus, Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Moldova.
Pot six: Luxembourg, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein, Georgia, Malta, San Marino, Andorra.
Looking at that lot, would love something like Austria, Greece, Faroe Islands, Finland & San Marino. Knowing our luck we'll get France/Italy, Ukraine/Poland and Turkey though.

Then Newcastle home, Sunderland away, Man Utd home

Currently playing for Ecuador against Bolivia in the Copa America, just set up a goal for Valencia but they're 3-1 down and on the way out at the moment.

We all know they're a bit of a joke, but that win tonight means that we're now above Spain, Italy, Portugal and France, and will be above England as well if they don't beat Slovenia on Sunday. Mental considering where we were four years ago!

We've played 14 league games and picked up 26 points, that's an incredible effort!

No wins since November, booed off at home (again) after managing one shot on target. Six points above the relegation zone. They couldn't possibly go down again, could they?

Repeat of our 3-2 win over Arsenal in 2012.

De Guzman has scored his second goal for them. Michu nowhere to be seen yet again. The chances of us getting any money for him is starting to look very slim now.

Thought he was excellent today, didn't give Eto'o a sniff. Definitely looks like we've upgraded from Chico.
|Penalties in football|

Is it about time we stop giving penalties for any foul inside the box and only give spot kicks as punishment for denying a goalscoring opportunity? Neither Bony or Moses would have gone anywhere near scoring today. Bony was definitely fouled by Shawcross but should the punishment be an opportunity to score that's converted 80% of the time?
There's controversy pretty much every week regarding penalties given incorrectly or not given when they should have been, I think we'd be much better off saving them for exceptional circumstances and letting the actual football decide who wins instead.
