Lovely article. If only we had a nation newspaper that could articulate as well as that. I'm so grateful I was blessed to have seen the likes of Leighton, Robbie , Kennedy, Thompson, Robinson etc in the flesh. All great players for us in a golden period, sadly missed |

We used to come out here quite regularly pre covid but first time back since then, love it here, my Mrs booked it as my birthday present, happy days. Will sample Pippas bar later |

It was very lively! Good atmosphere though, slept well, maybe the Guinness helped |

Out in Fuengirola for a few days, lots of love for Real here tonight, was hoping for a quiet meal with the Mrs, don't think it's gonna happen |

I really don't understand the problem here, am I missing something? There are far bigger problems regarding discrimination out there. I'm lucky enough to have a beautiful black wife and mixed race daughter so I've seen first hand discrimination and worse far too often but as I say, don't see the issue here. |

I think behind the goal when I went but could be wrong, just remember the bar having wire mesh screen with a gap to get your pint under which was slightly lower than the height of the plastic glass and having to tip it to get it out! |

At least Bobby has a promotion on his C.V. Martin's is a little lightweight to say the least. |

Definitely Swans, I know 2 or 3 in the photo, was it a mid week game ? I went to the Victoria mid 80s but can't remember if it was a Saturday or evening game. |

We were very lucky to have him and then criminally under used him while he was here. Type of player you could build a team around. On the plus side the kit looked nice today |

Can't really understand the tactics or selection today. Why bring Fulton on when we are at home with over half a game to go against 1 of the few teams below us in the league. Lumping crosses into the box against a basketball team ffs! We are crying out for guile and craft in the middle of the field. We've finally got some width but no one capable of getting the wide players into areas where we can hurt the opposition. We really miss a Ntcham type player. Not everyone's cup of tea I know but could definitely open a team up |
| Forum Reply | How and why did we start following the swans. at 13:26 19 Mar 2024
My Dad's business had an advertising board down the Vetch, he wasn't into football at all but it came with the company when he took it over. He had to go down to pay for it for the next season so the first time I ever went into the Vetch I had a tour culminating in standing on the pitch to get the full effect of the advertising board! It was a lovely sunny day and I was hooked. I believe Trevor Ford was working in the commercial dept at the time and took us round but I may be mistaken. Part of the deal was a couple of comps for the double decker for Mickey Conways testimonial a few days later. My grandad took me and I've been stuck with the Swans ever since. |

I don't usually enjoy derby day, knot in the stomach time and all that but today I had a calmness and serenity about me for some reason. Great win and performance, don't think any player had a below par game, we dominated front to back. If we had a Piroe up top it could have been another 4 nil job. Hope you all enjoy your evening, I will. |

Nothing for second place. They like to tell anyone who'll listen that they beat Real Madrid but for some reason don't mention the 2nd leg! It'll be the 100 year anniversary of their only cup win soon, we can look forward to a 3 part mini series on BBC Wales probably . |

Didn't go to this one, although my mates went I didn't fancy it for some reason and went to watch the reserves with my brother instead, can't remember who they played. Didn't miss many away games that season but always regret never setting the alarm for the trek. |
