A really solid performance, marred by some wayward finishing by the Saints. We moved the ball around well, with plenty of of the play switching from one side to the other. The higher pressing we employed from the first minute onwards, unsettled Swansea from playing from the back with any real effect . The were many turnarounds of play for Saints, due to this continual pressing, therefore preventing the Swansea players any time to get into a rhythm of any sorts.
Individually Jack Stephens continues to improve with each game, and as most fans are now realising is a class act. A promising start, and nine times of of ten we would have won comfortably. |
