The Scum Vs Dirty Leeds
at 13:30 21 Jun 2020
1-0 scum at the moment. Detest both clubs and would love Leeds to slip up again but we need Cardiff to drop points.
Social distancing in football

From watching the games earlier and watching MOTD now...elbow bumps, fists bumps instead of handshakes...and then massive huddles, group hugs when a goal is scored, people putting their arms around opposing players when a foul happens, plenty of scuffles...bit daft innit?

Following on from the iconic shirts thread, which shirt sponsors stick out in your mind, and which clubs are they related to?

Absolutely creaming themselves via every avenue today.
The official Coronavirus v Easter Bank Holiday Weekend thread
at 11:32 10 Apr 2020
Shocked no thread yet from JH!
In all seriousness...this weekend could potentially be a nightmare. On my normal morning run this morning, where I normally pass 0-2 people at a maximum, I must have passed at least 20-25. I really hope that this won’t be a trend across the country, but fear it will be. I acknowledge that I was one of the people out adding to the numbers, but I’m comparing it to what it is normally like on a daily basis.
Maybe a temporary lockdown Friday-Monday would have helped?
Half-time at the imaginary Swans game
at 16:01 28 Mar 2020
Just for fun. No game scheduled for this week, but the players are about to come out for the second half.
What would we be saying and what would have happened?
I'll go for...Swans have dominated for the first 30 mins, yet the opposition have sneaked in a goal in the 41st minute. 0-1 at half time.

Could this potentially have a good effect for the future?
at 18:31 20 Mar 2020
Ok, obviously we don’t want to be in this position, the amount of people that are ill or dying is truly awful.
Is this a WW2 moment, that teaches current generations (especially people born say 1980 onwards - I include myself in that) that you can’t have everything on demand, can’t waste food, have to think of ways to use everything to its maximum...not take family, friends, sports, pubs etc. for granted?
I hope that this might be one of the few positives to come out of this.

Prince Philip
at 17:19 18 Mar 2020
A relative who has a friend that works with the royal family has said that Prince Philip has passed away. No idea if this is true as I do not know the source, but thought I’d pass it on.
