|Mulder passing the ball out|
at 21:43 13 Feb 2019
I get what Potter is trying to achieve with a passing game but Jesus Christ, has he told Mulder he’ll shoot his pets unless he passes it short along the ground? It’s painful watching him hesitate to find a defender to come short, only for said defender to be closed down within seconds.
Going into injury time today...had the chance to smash it upfield on the break, but no...saunter around the box for a bit and roll it to the first defender that comes short.
Frustrating. You can see Mulder is a bit uncomfortable with it. Still would rather him between the sticks than Nordfeldt mind, but wish he was given a bit more freedom.

A bit of light relief from all of the seriousness surrounding the club at the mo!
Here’s my two to start off with...
The “don’t take me home” chant (and the other versions of it).
The slow version of “when the saintsssssss gooo marchhingggg innnnnn” (and the spurs version).

Looks like there’ll be some coming in from the southeast this evening. Swansea will probably be okay but looks like it’ll be white in many parts.

Fulham 1-0 up, Llorente own goal. Not good news for Cardiff, yjb.
|Giving up social media|
at 16:20 6 Jan 2019
Has anyone who uses social media tried giving it up, or tried having a break from it? By social media I mean Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Mainly Facebook and Instagram though. I deactivated my accounts a few days ago and am interested to see the effects.
First thoughts is a realisation of how addictive it is, and how dependent I had become on it in terms of checking it whenever possible. Wake up, make a cuppa, check Facebook, etc...on a train, in bed...it’s so easy to start checking it and spend 10-15 mins staring at the screen.
I was personally getting tired of the ‘perfect lives’ that people portray on these, as well as having lots of ‘half friendships’...people who would like or comment on a status but would ignore you in real life, for example. I’m really glad that I didn’t grow up with these things, I dread to think what it can do to the mental health of kids/teens...and even adults.
It’s amazing how much ‘free’ time I’ve found. Plenty more to spend on PS of course.

Wishing you all the health and happiness for 2019. I hope you’ve all had a great year, despite some of the footballing stuff!

I’ll start. John Bishop. Was dragged to see him in the Grand years ago, nearly fell asleep. Just a few hours of him telling very mundane stories.

What are people up to? Still going for it with the booze and food or take a day to recover a bit?

Never done it myself, can’t imagine being out of the house or a family house for Xmas dinner, although some really enjoy it. What do you do?

What an uninspiring choice.
I'd have gone for Andrew Neil or Paxman. Yes they can be dicks but I think it would be more challenging and entertaining.

I knew Tim and it was a horrible crash that has left two families devastated...no excuse to drink that amount and drive at that speed without a licence though. Horrible situation.

Anyone donning their finest Tesco suit and treating themselves to a very posh glass of Echo Falls red wine at 9am tomorrow?

A very positive season so far - I think more positive than many could have imagined. A refreshed, young squad (inevitable after PL relegation) who have stepped up and given many good performances. Some blips, but such is life.
What a competitive, exciting league this is. I think the playoffs are certainly something that we can aim for, which I think many (including myself) thought could be beyond our reach in this rebuilding year.
Good job Potter, good job team.
