He was decent enough last season but doesn’t look match fit this season when he’s been on the pitch. Has he started with Burrell at all as starting with Kone was never going to work for either of them. If he goes we need a decent replacement to back up Kone as Kolli is more of a Burrell stand in.
Kone and Burrell were hopeless today: hardly won anything and were half hearted when challenging for the ball. In fact all our ‘attacking’ players had a mare: no guile or creativity at all and lost the ball all the time. Lack of urgency throughout the whole team from the first minute.
I think Morrison was developing well and doing fine: can’t remember too many people complaining about him too much. Has been unlucky to lose his place IMO and has got plenty of time on his side. Good to see him recalled tonight.
Looks to me they are for some reason treating tonight like they do Saturday lunchtime games and only showing a few games from the Championship as well as a few from League One and League Two. And it’s definitely NOT on TNT: they don’t have any EFL rights. QPR website only offering audio commentary for UK as well. Frustrating.
He’s a 22 year old England Under 21 international who will be on relatively low wages compared to a lot of their first team squad so why would they accept anything less than what they paid for him (approx £3m). Wishful thinking that they’ll be glad to offload him for much less.
Don’t think we’ll get a better chance to break the 58 year old away Boxing Day hoodoo than tomorrow: hope we keep the momentum going with the same team apart from Cook for JCS.
So your opinion is that Chair is far better than the other four attacking midfielders who seemed to do ok against Leicester. Good for you. My opinion (and others on this thread) is different: hardly ‘fabricating things’…….
Started with three perfect score predictions out of the first four games but have now found my level in 14th. Predicting our first scorer is particularly difficult nowadays but that’s a good thing as there are goals throughout the squad.
He always celebrates our goals properly when he’s warming up on the side of the pitch: it’s great to see. WLS says we have offered him a new contract and talks are ongoing: really hopes he signs up as he’s a great squad member with a fantastic attitude.
Seems barmy to blindly think he’s untouchable and must be a certain starter every game when we now have a stronger squad with a number of decent players competing for his positions. Surely ALL players need to compete for their places in the first team: healthy competition and all that.
I’d say he’s no longer the first player on the team sheet: behind RND (if fit), Mbengue, Madsen, Burrell and maybe a couple of others. He also missed our good performance against Birmingham as well. Good squad player though.
