|NHS doomed still?|
at 12:00 27 Apr 2020
As some of you may be aware, there have been some right-wing commentators bleating how the problems with the epidemic show the NHS is not fit-for-purpose. I genuinely worry in 18 months time this 'failure' will be highlighted as a way to change the structure to and insurance-based system entirely. Is this just my paranoia or anyone else worry about this. It will be sold as out hard working NHS professionals are let down by an archaic system.

My daughter had an interview in the University today so I walked into town. Not been in the centre for a few years and must admit was pleasantly surprised-clear improvements over the last couple of years. Had a breakfast in the Kardomah for nostalgic reasons-not changed from when my grandmother took more there in the 70s. The Market is still a gem. All rounded off with a Joe's ice cream with my daughter. Wish I could say something profound-had a nice chat about the vetch with a lady in one of the bakeries. Easy to forget how much the Swans mean to the town

|Neil Robinson-bizzare fact|
at 17:34 18 Dec 2019
I never knew until a few minutes ago that Neil Robinson from the Toshack team was a vegan-even way back when he played in the early 80s. First vegan to score in top flight football allegedly. Noe makes strange music

This is a shameless plug for my good friend Pete, who has written an entertaining account of his time as player manager in the Rhondda League, including storming runs in the South Wales Intermediate Cup, altercations with officials and getting enough players on the pitch. All the more remarkable is that he was diagnosed in his teens as having a severe autoimmune condition and told he would never play. Pete his a top guy despite his affiliation to the dark side of Cardiff City. Given his older brother is a staunch Swansea man, this made for some interesting times growing up.
I enjoyed it tremendously and would help relieve tedium on a train or plane trip or just brighten a miserable afternoon

Got four on his debut for Dundee Utd. Maybe was worth a punt

Today has been long and surreal. From the plane full of Danish scousers,
to meeting Laudrup. Anyway, watching Ajax v Spurs and over we go to Trine with the ‘ White Hart Danes’ in a Copenhagen bar.
About 200 Danes going mad in Spurs shirts.
They now have Jamie Carragher on!

Sadly my second team in Wales are close to demise.
Although they have a thriving social club it is unrelated to the team. Will be a sad day if the Bulldogs go under. One of the big South Wales non-league teams before the current LoW/WPL structure.

On sky at the moment playing for FC Cincinnati who are 3-0 up over Portland. A strange loan signing for us a few years back. Not a bad player, but not really PL quality either
