There were stories at Villa is that Pearlman is looking to increase season ticket prices next season.

Anyone else heard anything? Prices must be announced soon if they follow previous seasons.

"Although I cannot promise or predict the future, I can guarantee one thing - the current board of directors will always fight, as we have done over the last 12 years, to work together as one with the Supporters Trust to make 100% sure that Swansea City football club remains the number one priority in all our thoughts and in every decision we make."

Just been reading the programme vs Preson and Romie Chaudhari and Bobby Heinreich are listed.

Why is it, every time we have a double-act in terms of ownership, it ends in disaster?

And now Spring 2018.

I take it all back.

Congratulations to our commercial department who have been able to sell out the Legends Lounge next season. I thought they would have struggled to sell this but it has sold out.

Swansea Statement - Levien & Kaplan
at 10:11 22 Jun 2018

It is well over month since they issued this statement.

https://www.swanseacity.com/news/swansea-city-statement

I wonder if they are going to have the courtesy to fans to update on how they have learnt from their mistakes over the last two years - on and off the pitch.

Potter is an exciting appointment but will fail if the set up does not change.

And can the club justify salaries for both Pearlman and Jenkins?

Excellent analysis from David Conn on the finances of the Premier League clubs from last season.

Full article

Highest-paid director Huw Jenkins, £633,666

State they’re in Figures for the Swans on their way down after the highs following promotion in 2011, hailed by Richard Scudamore, the Premier League’s chief executive, as a model club for the partnership of supporter-shareholders with the supporters’ trust. The atmosphere at the Liberty Stadium turned toxic after Huw Jenkins and his fellow shareholders cashed in by selling to the US investors, while keeping the trust out of the initial discussions. There is major restoration work to do in the Championship.

Will this still happen?

Will there be any demand?

Or will the Vice Presidents be allowed to return to this room?

How can Alan Curtis be host when he is scouting our on-loan players.

They also need to update the picture as Rangel has left.

From 9 mins 10 seconds onwards, it is interesting who Levien thanks to make the transaction happen.

Some of the names mentioned:

Sam Porter ?? (who is he??)
Rob Davies
Keith Harris (I assume the now Everton vice-chairman)
And various Swans shareholders

The Swans Trust gets mentioned by a journalist a minute later where Jenkins claims they will make "gains"

Swans Trust: Where Do We Go From Here - Managing The Club
at 11:09 28 May 2018

https://www.swanstrust.co.uk/2018/05/28/where-do-we-go-from-here-managing-the-cl

which includes:

Who is the right man to lead this review and make the necessary decisions? A few years ago that would have been an easy question to answer. If we look at this dispassionately, Huw Jenkins’ record for a long time was as good as anyone in the game. Sadly his track record in recent years is pretty much the polar opposite. Due to the continued failings in recruitment, both player and managerial, the Supporters Trust has called for the removal of Huw Jenkins as Chairman and as such we do not believe he is the right man to lead that exercise.
