I can't imagine why anyone would need to spy on Wrexham - the musical bell whiffs have spent the last 5 years making sure everyone knows everything about them.

It is indeed, but part of me thinks this is a bit small-scale now. Why can't we use Modric's connections to get some more glamorous pre-season action and increase our exposure? |

I think you're right. But we ended up drawing against Hull in the most pitiful manner, meaning that we mathematically put ourselves out of the play-offs. It was pathetic. |

I didn't say that he hadn't made a mistake! I'm just going by the pushing and shoving that took place in the immediate aftermath of Downes' foul, which then became an incident in itself.
But either way it's poor officiating - he could have spoken to his assistant who was also nearby. |

Having watched the clip a few times, I can't help think that if Widdell hadn't got involved, the ref might have given Downes a red card. But the jostling that ensued after the foul created a distraction/excuse for the ref to punish a few players, allowing the original offence to be downplayed. |

I think the fact that this is going to be our first loss at home in 11 games (against the league leaders) is improvement in my book.
