Israel/Hamas ceasefire
at 00:36 10 May 2024

Some abiet peaceful protesters ouside Barclays Bank Swansea earlier , pro Palestine .
Why that bank , customers must have been peed off walking into a area of no Political interest either side of the argument , I had been in HSBC , ex Park Inn to some oldies .

Henry Kissinger hat on , release the hostages , those still alive I hope , then talks start .

Israel stop carpet bombing Palestine , Palestine stop using innocent people as collateral damage as an excuse for their actions , placing hostages in the direct line of incoming .

Some reporter on BBC News earlier mentioned Russia could well hang out until 2026 to then take Ukraine fully , alas they are not interested in any peace plan , file alongside Israel .

Nobel Peace Prize for anybody who can resolve our Worldwide problems , good luck .

Just taken my Stetson off and handed it to Mr. Trump , he can resolve the chaos .

Mel Nurse & Stu McDonald

Seem to recall Mel Nurse saving The Swans financially after the Tony Petty fiasco .
Put his money into where he believed in , his club , nice one .

Think he had a Guest House on Oystermouth Road around that time too .

A computer nerd with fat fingers tried to post a sensible comment into this dedate .

Alas after a few edits and checking facts , trying to update my post I got lost and confused .
To me that is par for the Course when it comes to Technology .

I blame my age , that is my excuse .

Some great replies to my blank messages though , I did have a giggle to my uselessness of using a a Keyboard though .

A centre forward who does not like heading the ball.
at 01:28 2 May 2024

Last Old Fashioned No.9 , Centre Forward we had was Bob Latchford , a great signing .

Trundle as a forward got his goals , fans adored him , quality stricker though , not sure .

Michu was somebody to to turn up to watch , a great player for us , injuries did not help .

Toshack and Laudraup had a good eye for the Swansea Way of Football playing .

Current culture leaves me cold , board and revolving door of managers , not good .

Care home fees
at 00:42 1 May 2024

Few weeks ago had to help my son put a £10k deposit on a house , now purchased .

His Legal / Mortgage advisors needed to know all my back history of financal dealings .
Statements , proven records , ID , all double checked and photocopied at a designated
Post Office , then sent to the relevant provider for him .

My wording of that money in the initial paperwork was a loan to him , not good enough . Wording had to be a gift to him , such a small mistake to make , they picked it up and I had to re - write the document with ammendments .

Small print these days is a get out of jail card for many businesses , who does read it now.

Post Office then charged my 13 quid for sending a letter off with an offical stamping on the said duplicate documents .

Sad to say The World is at at a pinch point , Russia/N.Korea /China axis on one front challenging Uncle Sam and NATO to a peeing contest , I can go furthest with mine , awful.

Chuck in the situation in The Middle East , Isreal , Palestine , Lebanon , as Private Frazier so often said , We"re doomed .

Sturgeon and Salmon for starters resigning , cannot fit this latest name into the pun alas .
In fairness a Politician who has stood down , hey , I cannot run this Country , too much .

Maybe an honest Politician , rare as hens teeth of course , has done the honourable act .

Politics and Scotlands Independence claims are too deep to comment on .
Enough issues with our leaders in Cardiff Bay , Gethin next to go next maybe .

Edinburgh , went there a few years back , brilliant trip and City to visit .

Welsh Cup Final
at 00:09 29 Apr 2024

Watched a bit on S4C earlier , to my shame had the red button on for translation , not a Welsh speaker , understand Wenglish to a degree , but that commentary a no go .

Football side of it , started watching and quickly lost interest , nothing there to support either sides for me so turned channels , others will have enjoyed it of course .

If Briton Ferry , Ammanford , Llanelli also defunct Neath were involved , a decent watch .

North Wales maybe should develop a breakaway arm of FAW , then encourage South Wales to get a better standard of player .

As a general observation , WRU have never invested money into Gog Rugby , RGC is the only team I can think of up there .

Maybe stupid ticket prices for Wales games are bailing out Cardiff / Blues RFC .

Angela Van Den Bogerd

According to BBC reports , not seen the live stream as yet . A postmaster took his own life over issues with the Post Office , then hush money £140 k was offered to his widow to keep her mouth shut and not push the death investigation any further , an awful answer .

Really wish these inquires would nail these liars , but they will squirm through write a book about their services to the public and get a gong thrown in at the end .
Pity Blair and Bojo really are struggling financally these days , bless .

Angela from Neef comes across as a ducking and diving , not on my watch guv , pass the buck to somebody else ,type of person .

Have got to the stage were , turning telebox on . viewing news reports on line and other sources , propoganda and bias reporting , added and including , dreaded mobile phones.

Seems honest reporting on The Facts has gone , agendas run media now .

Auntie Beeb for all its faults , covered Angela Van de Bogerd squirming and hand wringing during her evidence , blamed everybody else , no on your watch this happened .

Seems the FA of Wales then employed after she jumped ship . I give up sometimes .

Stabbing in Ammanford School
at 01:19 25 Apr 2024

Ammanford , down the road from me , allegedly a young girl with a knife stabbing people .

Read about these issues of knife culture in a far away place , not on your doorstep .

Hope all victims are safe and well recovering , the attacker must need immediate medical and mental health support ,

We now have a culture amongst youngsters , carrying a blade is cool , protection innit .

The Ospreys
at 00:24 25 Apr 2024

St Helens for Glamorgan Cricket back in the day was my childhood venue in them glorious sunny Summers days , along side the Vetch of course . in the Winter .

Glamorgan/Cardiff Cricket Club have discarded Swansea as a go to spectator attraction so lets pump millions into Sophia Gardens for one T20 whack it game , 50 notes for a seat too.

Face it , Glamorgan will never return to Swansea , Neath will have a few keep the locals happy games , job done for Cardiff Cricket Club .

Surely The Ospreys must go to The Gnoll , will Neef die hards welcome The All Whites .

Some of the limited access I have to Welsh Rugby TV screening , S4C , Scrum 5 , etc , show very low attendances at Liberty and Parc Y Scarlets , camera angles decive the viewer .

English Premiership Rugby games , as I see on my telebox are full on with good crowds .

WRU are failing big time in running Welsh Rugby .

Seems the protected 6 Nations TV deal is up for the highest bidder in 2026 , bad news .

Gowerton Boys Grammar School pupil , a Rugby dominated place , well done mush.

As highlighted earlier him and Alastair Campbell became very close in his time at Burnley .

Politics aside , nice tribute from him .
