The uncontrolled immigration is, by my understanding, a result of a poor Brexit deal that meant we left the Dublin agreement: a piece of EU legislation that gave us the power to return asylum seekers to EU member states. It also assisted with reuniting families.

See how he gets on at Millwall.
But even then, the Charlton and Leicester results have given him a lot of credit. Confidently beating two decent teams (for this league) is exactly what the team needs.
Furthermore, the way we attack is brilliant: we're quicker, more creative and more clinical. This is a problem that Still, Rusk, Juric and (at least in the Prem) Martin all failed to solve.

He was flapping around like a tw@t but when you rewatch it the whole defence failed to react. Just so poor from absolutely everyone involved. A goal that comes from years of mismanagement. |

IMO, if someone were to travel to Southampton or Portsmouth on the day of a derby without checking prior then they would be a bit dense. Its common sense to look out for these things. |

Just to remind everyone, we signed a striker called Juan from Sau Paulo last summer and loaned him to Goztepe.
Our other Goztepe loan player, Matsuki, has returned and featured in a few media pieces from the club.
Anything on the whereabouts of Juan?? It would be nice to see how well our Goztepe players are doing, seeing that this multi club model is supposed to benefit us. |

I too would be surprised if there were any other younger posters on here.
Excluding Joiedevivre, there is only 1 other person I know who reads fan forums and that it my one of my Bournemouth supporting mates. He decided to get into them basically because I would read this site sometimes in Sixth Form.
A lot of people have said that social media is taking over the forums. That is true, but as a young person, I often prefer the discourse on here just because people are usually a bit more honest. On social media there is the incentive of recognition and more significantly monetary gain. This leads to having people whose posts are only there to either line their own pockets, get them closer to the club or just get a bit of attention. You don't really get that on forums so I find them a much better place to interact with people. [Post edited 11 May 2025 14:23]

Everytime I saw Cornet play he lacked the basic attributes of a winger - taking a man on, crossing, pace. Stoke in the cup stands out as a game where he really did next to nothing
No matter what system you play a winger is generally expected to at least do these things, which he couldn't.
Agree he was good at Burnley but has done nothing at West Ham.
There's mismanagement and there's not being good enough. Cornet falls into the latter. |
