Think I'm right saying next year's season ticket prices are released tomorrow for those of us who opted to take the refund for this season. What are we thinking they are going to set them at, very tricky for the club to get right imo.

Quite impressed with Cardiff tonight and how Mcarthy has got them playing. How bad was Harris.

If the season stopped right now, who would be your player of the year. A lot of genuine candidates. Roberts , Guehi, Grimes, Fulton, Lowe and I can't believe I'm saying it but Bidwell to name but a few.
I'd have to plump for Grimes at this moment but no-one has been head and shoulders above the rest, Cooper has built a real team to be fair.

If you still read this forum, I notice you are looking for canine buddy and needs to be hypoallergenic. All the advice you've had on your thread on PS is sound, however let me add my two pennies worth.
Its unlikely you'll get a dog from places like Many Tears as they almost always will only allow you to adopt if you already have a dog as the rescue dog will need the guidance from the resident pooch.
I have 3 from Many Tears and they have all been mistreated either physically or mentally by their former and I use this term lightly owners. 99% of the time all they need is time and patience. Once the dog trusts you the bond that will develop between you then is unbreakable.
I've always had JRT's then we found we needed to go down the hyper allogeneic route and our last 3 have been 2 Yorkshire terriers and my latest is a Bichon, she is the most affectionate and loving dog you could meet and has a wicked personality.
I'm sure you know but don't settle for something that isn't right for you as its a lifetime commitment.
Have you tried the vets, as very often there are adverts for dogs to be rehomed, just before Xmas there was a Bichon looking for a home as its owner had gone into a care home, so might be worth looking around and biding your time.
Best of luck and if I can be of any help feel free to message me.

Its been reported that more migrants successfully crossed the English channel in the first 3 weeks of Sept than the entire previous year. What can be done about this situation?
What do we offer as a nation that the rest of Europe doesn't, that prompts individual to pay huge sums of money and risk their lives.
Edit - don't let this thread become race baiting etc etc. Its a huge problem that needs a solution.

Anyone know the timeline for partial season ticket refunds. I know September's games are refunded in October and October's is November etc, but anyone know, when during the month. Its only 1 home game so far, but these are ramping up in October and November.

Are we able to discuss Bernie Ecclestone's comments on here rationally ? Not seen the full transcript myself, but is it synonymous with his generation?

Currently on BBC iPlayer, 3 part docu-drama , absolutely fascinating program, amazing how many times Hitler was nearly foiled, well worth a watch if you're into your History.

This is a genuine post not a wind up to get the usual suspects in a never ending cycle of who's right and wrong. I've been doing my family history over the last few months as aside from my parents and 1 grandparent I had no real idea where they all came from. It turns out 3 of my 4 grandparents were born in England. Bit of a surprise to be completely honest. So is it where you are born or the roots of your blood as it were. Legally it's where you're born I know but deep down , I'm not so sure. C'mon Ingerlund lol.
In all seriousness family history is fascinating , I'm back to 1781 on one side and 1848 on the other. Mind boggling and addictive. Anyone else had a go at their ancestry.

I've actually enjoyed most home games under Carlos, we've been competitive, just lacking goals. The effort and commitment has been there which as some have said is a basic requirement, but prior to CC was sadly lacking. Our away performances under him though have been a bit baffling, a bit more belief and we'd probably have a few more points on the board.
I know our net spend has not been great, but to have Borja & Mesa out on loan after shelling out somewhere in the region of 27million , Clucas , Bony & Ayew another 50million give or take, it's a bitter pill to swallow. I know there are no guarantees and it's been said over and over but our recruitment has been a disaster. Clucas is a tryer to be fair but whoever decided the lad was worth 17million on transfer deadline day when no-one else was after him needs sacking.
Whatever will be will be in football and as long as the team give 100% thats all you can ask from them. If they are not good enough, it isn't their fault. It's the coaching and recruitment.
Scrape staying up and do it all again next season or get relegated, I'll be there, where else will I be ?
Gutted for individuals whose jobs are under threat should we get relegated, it must be worrying times for some employees.

Carlos getting Cech's shirt after the game was a bit odd , showed it on the sky sports highlights.

I see he's still getting some stick from a few posters, think one Match day thread regular called him a liability. I think he's been part of our turn around in fortunes, constant thorn in the side for a full back and gives us that outlet that moves the team 20 or 30 yards up the field. He gives an outlet to Naughton and Olsson as he's never afraid to receive the ball, I'd imagine our full backs are more than happy with him in front of them. Just missing goals from his game as he's got older, but he'll do for me at the moment as he makes defenders nervous and liable to a panic or make a mistake. Shout out to the other escaped goat Naughton as well, thought he has played really well since CC has come in.

Interesting to see MOTD highlighting us getting bodies in the box. Good to see, that's a big plus for me.

Any particular reason the food bank thread got pulled?

I still think we stand a more than decent chance of staying up. The last 3 games have been absolute confidence and expectation killers. However if we stay up and I realise it's a big if, next season could be even worse. There appears to be very little money to strengthen a very weak paper thin squad. If we do get relegated then take out Gylfi, Fabs and probably Llorente , then there is a very good chance we could drop straight through the division.
It's a bit concerning that when we had no FB , we use Leroy, as the U23 player not deemed up to it. Likewise, we got no CF and our record signing who also happens to be a striker, can't even get onto the bench.
Even if we stay up the good ship Swansea has been well and truly scuppered I'm afraid,.

Ok , whose been, any tips on booking etc , looking at possibly combining New York and Vegas , with 3 or 4 days in each. Is this viable?
