You forget we were beating Chelsea towards the start of that run, I think they “found” an equaliser in the 83rd minute through what must have been one of the clearest off side decisions ( a metre off at least) I e ever seen. Warnock still goes on about the injustice of that now on TS, if ever there was favouritism for the top teams it was clear that day. Of course, after blatant cheating they went on to get a winner. Warnock said that game killed them off. Looking at results after that he has a point.
In saying all they Tan is mental. I guess it’s the only way he will ever get the 100 million HE has wasted back, the blundering fool he is. |

87/88 we played you in Cardiff early, August, predictably there was loads of trouble mainly with police though as Cardiff fans were the 1st in the uk to be charged with rioting at a match. The away game was NYD 88, helluva game…2-2.
Maybe the photo is a few years later? Looking at the clothing it could easily be mid 90’s for Swansea  |

Sounds like that gave them a decent boost starting out debt free almost…..look where it’s got them? I can think of a useless owner who could do with writing off a 100 million HE has spunked. |

Not really, they just say that to annoy you, no one I know who lives here ever thinks to mention it. It’s just the way it is, no other place could even come close to vying for the accolade anyway. Wales is the appendix of the uk….largely irrelevant. If only we had a football team a capital city deserves though eh? We can double your support even when we are shiiiite in the PL. |

Yeah Ramsey should definitely have come on just for the pens, what was he even there for if he couldn’t even come on to take a pen? I saw that conversation as you said, if they didn’t practice pens before then it’s scandalous. Time for a change eh. |

That’s the way….be great for us to qualify for this as plenty of fans can go unlike Qatar. Wales v France and Holland on a balmy June eve? Don’t expect anything from those games but might well inspire the next Gareth bake or Joe Allen sitting at home watching it on tv. |

The atmosphere was terrible at the ms….only time I remember a decent one was when we beat west Germany in 1990 was it? Novelty back then as we were both shocking in division 4 so seemed like a big deal. Probably just be full of kids with horns |

Just reacting to the old wannabe hools on here, the defeat was expected by me, knew you’d come out guns blazing and bulut picks the wrong team. We were bad but you don’t actually think you were good do you? A good few neutrals I know thought you were the worst swansea team they seen for 20 years, let’s face it they ain’t wrong.
