I pity the 377 who made the 300 odd mile trip to watch that load of tripe. I wasted £9.50 which was painful enough. Can’t see it getting any better with big Jim at the helm. Nobody’s in any decent form which doesn’t help. Big difference between the teams today was they had a decent front line who looked dangerous every time they went forward. We looked toothless and clueless. Let’s hope the takeover goes through and the new owners are patient because I reckon it’s going to be a long way back to get back to anything like where we were 10 years ago. Clear out in the close season and start afresh with a new manager with different ideas and some new faces or we’ll just be putting up with the same inconsistent dross we’ve played this season. TBH don’t know how we won the last 3 apart from the Wealdstone game. UTD!!! |

I stand by my comments I made last year when we were marching through the midfield at Mansfield going for all 3 points and BJ brings on a defensive mid fielder when he should have stuck with the attacking format and gone for the jugular. Much as I like the bloke he’s too conservative and looks to fight another day and take a point rather than all 3. That’s why he’ll have a level WDL ratio in his managerial career and not a winning one. If we get through our predicament and come out the other side we need a new manager to take us forward in an upward trajectory. UTD |

Need to get out of this rut of conceding 2 goals pretty much every game. We are a bang average NL side. Think we have been getting a bit carried away with being over optimistic with our top 7 position earlier on but pretty sure unless Rodders can get into goal scoring mode or if we tighten up at the back then a mid table obscurity finish is all we can look forward to. |

Oh dear. Everyone looked off the pace tonight. Gilmour never got going and we looked dodgy at the back without Georgie. Ebanks looks half the player without Nevett. At fault with their second goal misjudging the bounce. Clueless last 20 mins. Don’t think they’d have scored if they played all night. Squad needs a refresh but unfortunately we’re stuck with the same 12-13. They could do with a rest after Saturdays long trip. Hopefully they’ll be refreshed for the cup but that’s looking like a banana skin the way we’re playing at the mo. Trying to stay positive but with our paper thin squad looks like the playoffs might be out of reach. UTD! |

Got away with one there. Completely lost our way second half. Apart from SAJ missing a sitter we didn’t threat their goal. Nevett starred in defence again for me. Jez ineffectual and Mitchell usual no show. Midfielder’s we’re quiet which didn’t help second half. Could have been a couple up by halftime saying that so a point away is a good result if not a good performance. In need of another decent striker option up front. Don’t suppose Rodders is anywhere near getting fit to be in the squad? See what Dorking have to offer Saturday. I’ll put up with another point down there. As long as it’s a better performance than the second half tonight. UTD! |

We still look dodgy at the back IMO. Gave the ball away too many times and if we keep doing it a decent team will take full advantage. We also can’t defend corners or set pieces. I like the possession style going forward, unlike others commenting on this thread. The slide rule pass to put SAJ in for the second pen was testament to our style. Tougher tests ahead but hopefully the impetus will keep us n the right half of the table. Up the Dale! |

Agree with most of what you said. John for me isn’t the attacking wing back we’re looking for though. Thought Conway looks a good prospect and what we we’ve been lacking at left back. SAJ isn’t the player for a right wing back either but don’t know who else could play in that position. We left ourselves wide open too often at the back leaving one v one when looking for a third goal. Also looked a bit bereft when Clayton was sent off but good to see East and Gilmour come to the fore. Pretty sure when Rodney gets back we’ll be a different prospect up front. Whether he’ll fit in with the style of play we’re playing at present remains to be seen but he’s got to be better than Mitchell after tonight’s no show. UTD! Back to winning ways on Monday.  |

Thought we got what we deserved. Clueless first half. Lucky not to be 3-1 down. Second half we let them dominate first 20 mins and the damage was done. Too little too late last 20 but if we’d got an equaliser it would have been an injustice. Thought Woking were a decent team. Can see why they made the playoffs last season. Going to be a long season am afraid |
