Surely, there is an element of JS trying to manage workload? Kemper hadn't played since first game and spent 65 minutes keeping the Championship's best player in his pocket. Would have been good to let him continue but, without Cirkin, the LB slot could be a weakness. Adamson has played there, but it's not his natural position. I think it was a reasonable call on the Boy. However Lamptey is a case of what you see is what you get? 4 years of almost continual injuries, then you're taking a risk. Friday it came back to haunt us.
I thought Smyth got clattered a few times so may have been struggling.
Kone for Kolli was probably pre-planned. Neither look fit enough for 90 minutes of 100mph Championship football.
It also appears that both lloyd and Saito picked up injuries in training.

Looking at the clip he seems to be operating more as midfielder than LB. Seems to be doing well . I think Worthing got promoted last season and they are making a very decent fist of National League football.
Other than Bennie none of our other loanees seem to be getting much of a run out. |

Given our injuries to the strike force I struggle to see us scoring. Even with West Ham's porous defence.
If Lamptey isn't fit the prospect of Adamson versus Bowen could turn into a long, long night.
I'm torn between 2-0 and 3-0 and cannot see us getting anything positive. |

Without knowing the full story, it appears that the new landlords massively hiked the lady's rent to unaffordable levels, before evicting her. Presumably for non payment.
The UKG has enacted laws to prevent "no fault" evictions and to prevent extortionate rent hikes. |

Given his stats and longevity it's hard to argue that Kane should be considered as the best England striker of all time.
Greaves' record is similar but Greaves barely contributed outside the box. Rooney and, much earlier, Finney don't even come close.
In terms of best England player ever, you cannot ignore Charlton, Moore, Banks and Shilton. They have to be in the mix. |

I do think Dave Mac and Kevin G do come across a little as cynical old fogies whereas Ben is a tad over enthusiastic about the DS.
KG points to the players that made it to first team during his time which means QPR can produce 1st teamers. However, they rather glossed over Ben's view about how many other clubs are spending millions on their academies. We have to compete with Arsenal, Chelsea, Fulham and Spurs who are recruiting from the same pool as us. Sometimes, they even entice our best to join them in their teens. Harvey Elliot and Chris Mepham being 2 examples.
Moving to Cat 1 is a step in the right direction but it's not the be-all and end-all. We have to keep and develop the best of the youngsters and it could take 5-10 years.
It's still a fact that 91% of Academy 18 you don't go on to make regular appearances at EFL or above levels. |

Ben Jacobs tweeted we played Foolem at their training ground.
Lost 2-1. Some guy called Kolli scored for us.
There was also a tweet about 3 x 15yo training with First team. Shows how many are away/injured. |

We're all guilty of over hyping the youngsters. The current bunch might give us 1 or 2 first team players but, like every other club, I doubt it will be more than that.
Bennie is getting game time at Dundee Utd, without pulling up any trees.
Morgan, Pearman and Sanyaoulu have got League loans but aren't being used that much, if at all.
The others are in non-League. That's OK as a starting point but they need to get to higher level loans before any 1st team run outs for us. Only Scarlett has done that this year and that hasn't met with universal acclaim.
Players not playing League football by 20 almost certainly aren't going to be good enough. |
