Yes Brown has everything to be a top top player. He's got strength, speed, touch, and with 3 goals in 4 games he's shown he can finish. I dont know if it's a confidence thing with him but if he can overcome that he can go a long way. Watson mentioned he'd been working on his finishing with some extra sessions with Hendo - its certainly paying off.

Yep - It will go to Salford with 4 wins and a draw in their 5 games. Great response by Watson after a horrendous start - if there is a players award Flint must be in the running.

Edit * There is a players award and somehow they have omitted Flint - good for us I suppose as it keeps him under the radar.

Ethan Brierley should be playing for Huddersfield tonight. It will be interesting to see how he's playing since losing his way at Brentford. Noticed Huddersfield released on of our other ex-Academy players Peter Thomas at the end of last season - he'd been loaned out to Scarborough previously. The grass was definitely not greener for him after ditching us.

Wonderful 3 points. Somehow it feels better leaving it late. The difference Flint has made to this team is unbelievable really. He's a rock and such a leader on the pitch - at the moment he'd go down as one of our best ever signings of all time. Hopefully he can stay injury free because he's looking almost irreplaceable. Fair play to Watson making such an attacking substitution bringing on Hayes and Mani D for an underwhelming Hannant and Francis. The attacking intent we showed in that last quarter of an hour must be what he wanted from the start like last week. Hayes was back to his best - like his last spell with us he is just so attack minded and gives defenders nightmares. The league table is looking superb compared to how we started the season. Hill was on GMR today summarising our game and he was gushing about the signing of Aden Flint for us.

If I remember correctly 1
of his England goals was a worldie too. Think he scored for Dale in a Football League Trophy game. Like Matheson,Townson he never went on to fulfill that young potential - thousands of young footballers have had the same story for whatever reason. It takes more than just a lot of talent - that dedication to carry on doing it every day when you think you've already made it.

I mean technically Norwich signed him in June 2019 when they had just been promoted to the Premier League so I guess Hill was half right. He only ever played 2 games for their U21's though.

Yes it was a bit like the Emperor's New Clothes with Adshead. Everyone at the club was saying what a player he was but we never really saw anything 'wow' in his limited few games for us.

Such a sad and disappointing end to what should've been our first play off season. Think we'd only lost 5 games all season up till Barnet away then we somehow lost 6 out of our last 9.

Exactly, Burnham will be sat in an exec box at Everton wondering why he can't drink his pint whilst the game is on. It's not needed in the stands or the terraces. Have a pint before, at ht and after the game if you desperately need it.

Yes seen this recently on Facebook. It looks like a great initiative. It's a shame Rochdale doesn't have any regular major gig venue. Champness Hall would be wonderful if it were utilised better. They do have the odd gig there but its been tribute bands as far as I can see. To have proper bands come to the town would be, as Ian Watson would say... Amazing!

I wouldn't worry about him not being on crutches. A hamstring pull/strain wouldn't require crutches - still could be 4 - 6 weeks out with that.

Just watched highlights. Liverpool's late equaliser is at least a yard offside - even so its poor not seeing a game out like that. Hopefully not too much momentum lost from last Saturday's euphoric win and at least Fleetwood lost tonight too. Henderson's 2 finishes deserved to win us that game alone.
