Labour imploding
at 14:42 4 Dec 2025

of course not. It is a sentence handed down by a corrupt court in Bangladesh why who anyone experts justice. Bangladesh like Pakistan immediately jail politicians of they other other party once they get into power. Who would believe anyone in countries like these as well as Russia and Iran would get a fair trial.

I am more concerned with labours' attempt to "cancel" democratic elections in this Country.
Today they announced that elections of four Mayors has been put back by two years. All these were elections that Labour was likely to come third.

This follows Labour decision to cancel County Council Elections last May in the East of England.

Tulip Siddiq sentenced to two years imprisonment
at 09:22 4 Dec 2025

She has not been convicted in in the UK so has no criminal record and has no need to resign.

Bangladesh unfortunately has a corrupt legal system. No doubt their political masters decreed the verdict before the court sat.

A bit like Russia, Iran and many other rougue nations.

Two city rugby
at 23:32 3 Dec 2025

Since the inception of the United Rugby Championship and it its predecessors the Ospreys have consistently been the best supported Welsh team followed by Scarlets, Cardiff and dragons. Only is the last two seasons has the Ospreys attendance fallen below the Scarlets.

The Cardiff and Dragons attendances are very accurate. When they played the 2 matches at the National Stadium if 40,000 attended both Cardiff and dragons were credited with a home attendance of 40,000 which is clear nonsense.

Interest in Welsh Rugby has certainly slumped
In 2012 the Ospreys averaged over 10,000 and has fallen season by season to just over 5000.

Migrants welcome in Wales says Baroness Morgan
at 22:57 3 Dec 2025

They are according to the dictionary

"a person who moves from one place to another, especially in order to find work or better living conditions."

The English are certainly not welcome in Wales. The Senedd are always making anti English legislation to discourage the English from buying houses, and visiting as tourists.

Unfortunately mail volumes are about 25% of what the were in the 1970, yet Royal Mail overheads and infrastructure are the same.

Child poverty 2 child benefit cap abolished
at 22:49 3 Dec 2025

A family with both parents working and 3 children have to earn £70,000 a year to match the benefits a family with both parents unemployed and three children.

The reason is simple the working family, after the personal allowance , have to pay tax and NI on nearly £50,000 which works out at £15000.

The family on benefits of course pays no income tax as well as getting help with their rent and discount on their council tax bill.

Increase tax, cut spending or borrow
at 16:52 27 Nov 2025

Yes covid borrowing, and vastly reduced income tax and NI as people were furloughed plus the cost of vaccines

The next big crisis was of course the energy crisis, caused by the Russians invading Ukraine. This caused the electricity price to increase from £37 per MW to £200 per MW as well as gas prices soaring. The government spent £64 billion giving every household generous payments to cover some of the increased energy costs.

Another reward for those on benefits getting a tax free handout paid for by those working.

Strange how state pension is classed as a benefit is taxed at earned income at 20%, while all other benefits are paid tax free even if you get benefits of £20,000 pa.

No wonder people on benefits refuse to work.

UK's first small nuclear power station to be built in north Wales
at 08:26 14 Nov 2025

Funny how the Senedd was always happy to accept UK taxpayers money, when it funneled via the EU as part of the "regional development fund" . Often it was wasted on vanity projects although it was well spent on the vital transport project the heads of the valley road.

The UK government was happy to fund the M4 relief road as part of the UK infrastructure programme.

The environmental impacts were very low. Most of the road was around the outskirts of Newport crossing very little of the Gwent levels. Most if the Gwent levels have been drained to to provide low level farm land used for grazing.
As part of the project they could easily have allocated money to fully restore parts of the levels.

Another opportunity missed by Drakeford to improve everyday life for the people of South Wales. Improved infrastructure always brings new investments and jobs

Pity the Arab states did not support the UN mandate back in 1945/46 which created the two state solultion. They all refused to recognise the state of Israel. Egypt invaded the gazza strip and Jordan invaded the West Bank both of which formed part of the new state of Palestine.

We could have had peace in the middle east without the loss of life in the various Arab Israel wars and the countless deaths fighting terrorism since.

Cardiff Airport

Jet2 has just announced it is starting to fly from Gatwick from April. If only the Senedd had encouraged Jet2 to operate from Cardiff. If only Some of the annual subsidy had been used to offer discounted rates to the airlines to operate new routes from Cardiff.

Corbyn was happy to support Terrorist countries especially if they were against equal rights for women, democracy and were happy to kill anyone who opposed them.

Just as well 95% of the UK population were against Corbyn's warped ideas.

Rachel's proposed EV charge per mile is another disaster waiting to happen. Take you EV to France for a touring holiday, travel a 1000 miles and you will pay £30 for the damage you caused to the UK roads.
