If only some police officer had kicked the Manchester Arena bomber in the head how many lives would have been saved.
Armed police at airports are on full terrorist alert.
Meanwhile a rabble gather outside a Rochdale Police Station accusing the Police of racism.

According to the ONS the number of police officers in 2023 was 150697 the highest number ever since the statistics was first published in 1979 when it was 109607.
In 2010 it was 146962. Only in the left wing world can an increase of 3300 be describes as a tory cut. |

We do agree that passengers numbers fell from a peak of 2.1 million when privately run fell to 850,000 last year when it was a nationalised company |

Correct after the councils sold their shares in it.
It was never a government asset that was privatised just a private company sold by its shareholders.
Surely even you know the difference between capitalist shareholders selling their shares that a government privatising an asset they own.
Since it was Nationlised by the Welsh government passengers numbers have crashed, losses up, subsidies up. |

Think you will find it was a SNP motion to amend the King's speech . A few other parties also put down other amendments to the King's speech.
It usually happens after every King's/Queen's speech.
All part of out parliamentary system.

Cardiff Airport of course was never privatised . It was owned by Glamorgan County Council. Under local government reform in Wales its ownership was split between West Glamorgan, Mid Glamorgan and South Glamorgan.
Individual counties sold off their third ownership as they did feel they could run an airport that was not in their county.
It reached it peak passenger numbers in 2007 under private ownership 2,100,000.
It was bought by the Welsh government in 2012.
In 2017 the Welsh Government said passenger numbers would reach 3 million in 2025.
Last year there were 840,000 passengers |

Most get transferred to English hospitals because that is where the centre of excellence are. Particularly in child care, transplant, heart surgery etc.
Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol , London and Cambridge are where these specialists centre are. It is one it one of the benefits of the UK NHS. |

It has never gone away. As the effectiveness of the vaccines wear off and natural immunity wanes more people are going to catch it. Just hope the vulnerable keep getting their annual vacinations.
We are going to have to live with it, just like flu and heavy colds. |
