I do not like a right footer playing left back.....balance is all wrong - always coming inside to his natural foot, not good for many reasons. Shaw is nowhere near being fit, hopefully he will get fit quickly perhaps. Southgate should have primed a LB to pick and not just relied on Shaw, who knows if he will be fit and who knows if his injury will not recur. Another poor decision from our Manager. |

Bowen is very average on the international stage (different level to the Premier League) and would not get a 'sniff' near the Man City team - 100%. If he was he would not be at West Ham.
If Bowen gets a start or even a subs appearance then we, England, will be struggling proper badly. |

Bowen is not top international class.....how he picks him ahead of JG only Southgate knows.
JG is fit and ready to go after limited game time this season with one of the best club sides in the world.....utter madness from Southgate which is what can be expected unfortunately.
I like Shaw but he has not played for weeks and weeks but he still picks him......very strange indeed. |

Big mistake No 1 - not taking Grealish!!! Causes opposition so many problems.
Sorry, not going to go down well on here but Grealish is a better player than Eze and several of the others he is taking to play wide as an attacking player.
Basically a 'shocking' decision......hope there is not too many more otherwise forget winning anything despite having enough top players to win the tournament. |

Speed is not just about running fast.....seeing things first beats fast runners, speed of thought does as well, reading the game is important for speed. Most important is speed over the first 10 yards, that's where it all happens.
Armstrong is just a fast runner basically and if Dykes is fast then I have not seen it!! |

How do you know that 'I have no idea, same as you have no idea' what she does??? You dont!!!
I have seen her many times around the Academy and she appeared to be doing very little apart from standing next to Chris Ramsey or another coach and as I said, I have never seen her take a training session.
Maybe she is an excellent 'player' but I have never seen it at all and I would strongly suggest that the kids development set up and moving up to the Academy has a lot of 'room for improvement'. I could tell you many things about the kids set-up but it probably isnt appropriate.
As I said, we will see how she goes at the Premier level and with the U15's(??) within the England set-up. |

I know that she has a job with England and is leaving for a Premier Club apparently (big deal!!). Why did you think I did not know that??, its been all over this MB!! Answers on a postcode will be sufficient!!!
1 - what has she actually achieved at QPR running the Academy??? I'm interested to know but I know that you do not respond to questioning!!!! so do not expect an answer.
2 - lets see what she he is doing at Spurs and England and what she achieves. |

She decided who was released and who was given a new contract in the Academy……
I have never seen her take any men’s (boys) coaching sessions, not even once.
I have seen her watching the boys playing on the sidelines.
Personally I think she is not very good but it looks good that our club has a women at the head of the academy. It would not surprise me if she was ‘outed’ by the new CEO. |

MC is going nowhere…….
Success will be selling Dykes and replacing him with a decentish striker - this is top priority.
We also need to get a striker with potential to improve, a risky signing basically.
Replace the GK with a little bit of ability and experience to replace our current GK. A priority too, like a striker.
Also we need to keep most of our current 1st team squad. |

I would suggest that all of these players are no good enough and the right decision has been made. At last we are being realistic and not wasting a lot of money on players that are basically never going to be good enough to represent the club at 1st team level.
The good lady who has just departed is to blame, not Les or Ramsey- she was in charge 100%.

I am confident that the 'set-up' we now have off the pitch they will not be planning for anything but a 'play-off' position next season.......could be a good season ahead of us. |

Mainoo did not have a good game last night but is a decent player and one for the future imho. I thought Eze was average last night too. Olise was the star last night - very good indeed.
Players cannot play brilliant every game. |

Come on Lblock.....those words are really not necessary. Do you actually know if he really was told to go out on loan and if he was what were the offers on he table.
