John Sillett who managed Coventry 1986-1990 who lead them to a FA Cup win(their only one just like us) was born in Southampton.

Yes! but it was still Div 1

JPT Final,of course they were there for the day out

1976 Simi Final,I was there that day and the support was amazing.

I don't believe that.

When we were relegated to Div 1 our support was excellent.
The Football League Trophy most of the 73 Thousand were Saints fans.
Going back to 76 the semi final against Crystal Palace Saints fans had the whole of the shed end at Stamford Bridge and I am telling you now they were very passionate that day..

To be honest I am not a great fan of THB,I know he has scored a couple of goals at late but his attitude to me leaves a lot to be desired.
When he makes mistakes,as all defenders do from time to time,he looks around as if to say it wasn't my fault
I wonder what he is like in the dressing room?

Downs last year played 6 times for the German U20, scored twice.
I understand peoples reservations but I feel there just might be a decent player there somewhere.

Its striking how much pace the team is showing under Tonda.
When the ball is played in midfield there's none of this endless sideways passing.
Léo Scienza drives forward ably supported by F. Azaz who has in support T. Fellows who is terrorizing down the wing and C. Jander backing them all up.
Who put recharged batteries in Armstrong he is dynamite.
Now I am going to get slaughtered for this but I am hoping D. Downs will come good.
I know his first touch is poor but given the side is playing so much better I hope he sees the ball more and with this his confidence growing ,one can only hope.
Frankly I am amazed at the change Tonda has brought out in the team.
