Only seen the last 20 mins. Nothing to be impressed with. However It gives Matos a look at the new players and fringe players for him to assess who capable and suits his system. From that point of view it may not be a bad thing.

Yes I think it's the hype that would follow if they won it. The commentators and the studio analysts won't help with the enjoyment.
But there if I was English I would love it as I did in our 2016 Euro's run.
If they do win it I'll still sleep OK at night.

Last couple of season's we've flirted with both ends of the table.
No doubt I'll start the season with a bit of optimism.
If we can be in the mix for top 8 i'd take that.

He appears to on the scale of Mullin.(Although he struggled at Lge 1 level). Very good lower league goalscorer. Championship step just too much for him. You could probably say that about Trundle s well.

Agreed.
He looked like he had the opportunity to start a career as a league manager and it fell through. He's done well for Wales with the quality of players we have.

Spot on. This is why personally I always hold not animosity for anyone whose left our club. If they better themselves financially or personally good luck to them.

Personally I think that's too high a figure. £15m-£18m would be my guess.
One good scoring season at championship level doesn't merit that type of figure IMO.

That's how I see it.
He's bettered himself by moving away and we seem to have improved without him.
So that's a win all around.
Like many others I suspect I like to see how our ex players get on and in the main I hope they do well..
