A beautifully crafted and executed goal in the 3rd minute followed by some determined and committed defence gave Swans 3 Points against a slick and classy Luton team. A very good win in the circumstances.

Our passing lacked accuracy. So many times we passed straight to a Stoke player. Guehi’s howler was just an extreme example of our poor passing game. It improved in the last 20:mins when Hourihane replaced the ineffectual Lowe.
They hit both posts and drew a super save from Freddy on another occasion so we were incredibly fortunate to win with an outrageous non-penalty. Phew!

A dire game only salvaged by the single piece of football executed by the Swans all night: Bidwell crosses, Roberts leaps to head it into goal. 3 points move on. Utterly forgettable match. Can only be better on Saturday - performance-wise.
