Happy League 2025/26 Week 31 (of 38) - Deadline Saturday 28th February 12.30
at 21:20 21 Feb 2026

Week 30 results

BRENTFORD 0 BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION 2

Brighton halted a six-game winless run with an impressive victory, to ease the pressure on manager Fabian Hurzeler. No points for anyone from this game, as 23 predicted a win for Brentford, with a massive 15 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score.

NORWICH CITY 1 BIRMINGHAM CITY 2
Birmingham withstood a rousing second-half fightback by Norwich to record a statement win and boost their Championship play-off hopes. Only concordman and Madeira163 had this spot-on, and nobody got the outcome.

SOUTHAMPTON 1 CHARLTON ATHLETIC 1
Sonny Carey scored a second-half equaliser to earn Charlton a point as visiting boss Nathan Jones returned to face his former side. Well done to bwildered for being the only one to get this spot-on, and nobody had the outcome. 22 predicted a win for Southampton.

BOLTON WANDERERS 2 BLACKPOOL 2
Substitute Mason Burstow scored an 85th-minute equaliser to earn Bolton a draw and deny former boss Ian Evatt victory. Well done to Blue4U2 for being the only one to have this spot-on, and only oxfcolu got the outcome. 21 predicted a win for Bolton.

PORT VALE 1 READING 1
Martin Sherif scored a dramatic equaliser with the last kick of the game in the 96th minute, as basement boys Port Vale rescued a point. 3 got this spot-on, and nobody had the outcome.

CHELTENHAM TOWN 3 SALFORD CITY 2
George Miller scored a 96th minute winner as Cheltenham came from 2-1 down with six minutes left to beat 10-man Salford. Nobody had this spot-on, but 3 did get the outcome. 18 predicted a win for Salford.

We have had a number of poor weeks this season, but this one beats the lot, and was by a long way the worst one of the season so far. Considering how hard the games were to predict, we did have a total of 7 spot-ons, but it was a paltry 4 outcomes in total, that made the week so bad. I can never remember so few outcomes in a week before. Also another record could be the 15 members firing blanks this week. One member did well to get two 3 pointers, that was Madeira163, who had the Port Vale 1-1 to go with the Birmingham 2-1, to make him the weeks top scorer, with a decent 6 points. Best of those to get one 3 pointer was unitedwhites, who got the Port Vale 1-1, and the Cheltenham outcome, to give him a useful 4 points in such a low scoring week.
A look at how the season is going. The 216 games have finished with 104 (48.15%) homes, 66 (30.55%) aways, and 46 (21.30%) draws. Since I last looked at these figures in Week 24, the homes have lost 4%, but still look finishing above the 40% of previous seasons, The aways have gained 1%, and the draws 3%, but both remain below their averages of previous seasons. After a number of 1-1's recently, that result has taken over as the top one for the season with 22. One ahead of the 2-1, and two ahead of the 1-0. The 1-2 is best for an away with 17.

In the Premier Even though he only had the Birmingham 2-1 spot-on, this was an excellent week for concordman, as he increased his lead by those 3 points, as the seven members directly behind him all fired blanks. The only change in this division came at the bottom, with unitedwhites moving up a couple of places, to take him out of the relegation zone, where is replaced by mfb_cufc. Having the Southampton 1-1 spot-on moved bwildered closer to those above him.

In Division One On such a low scoring week the positions remained the same as Week 29. The highlights being. By having the Port Vale 1-1 spot-on Tropical_Us is only kept out of the automatic spots on the first to post rule. Getting the Bolton outcome moved oxfcolu to within a point of the play-offs, and Blue4U2 moved to within 2 points of the play-offs, after having that good Bolton 2-2 spot-on.

THE TABLES (216 out of 280 played)
(Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post)

BIRMINGHAM CITY 1 LEEDS UNITED 1

AET Leeds won 4-2 on penalties

Latest scores

Blue4U2 5 Sector4 3
By having the Birmingham 1-1 spot-on Blue4U2 has taken the lead. Still hope for Sector4 as they have different predictions for the Grimsby and Stoke fixtures.

concordman 2 noah4x4 2
The Birmingham v Leeds fixture was the defining one, but with nobody predicting the draw, someone is going to need a 3 pointer from the final four games to avoid a replay.

Happy League 2025/26 Week 30 (of 38) - Deadline Saturday 21st February 15.00
at 21:02 14 Feb 2026

Week 29 results

DERBY COUNTY 2 SWANSEA CITY 0

Derby climbed into the Championship play-off places as second-half goals from Rhian Brewster and Patrick Agyemang secured this victory. A sublime 5 got this spot-on, and a further 15 had the outcome, with 13 going for a 2-1 in what was equally the weeks most predicted score.

QUEENS PARK RANGERS 1 BLACKBURN ROVERS 3
Blackburn boss Michael O'Neill saw his new side haul themselves out of the bottom three with this victory. Nobody had this spot-on, and only NME_colu got the outcome. 22 predicted a win for QPR.

BARNSLEY 3 AFC WIMBLEDON 3
Barnsley squandered a two-goal lead before dramatically equalising late on in an end-to-end League One draw. Again nobody got this spot-on, but 4 did have the outcome. 18 predicted a win for Barnsley.

CARDIFF CITY 3 LUTON TOWN 1
Three first-half goals saw League One leaders Cardiff beat an in-form Luton to go four points clear at the top of the table. Everyone predicted a win for Cardiff, with 4 having it spot-on.

CAMBRIDGE UNITED 3 BRISTOL ROVERS 1
Ben Knight's brace helped Cambridge to a fifth successive home win. A super 6 got this spot-on, and another 14 had the outcome.

CHESTERFIELD 1 HARROGATE TOWN 1
10-man Chesterfield's hopes of earning a League Two play-off spot took a dip after they were held to a draw by lowly Harrogate. Another game with no 3 pointer, and only Blue4U2 got the outcome. 22 predicted a win for Chesterfield, with 13 going for a 2-0 in what was the weeks other most predicted score.

TRANMERE ROVERS 2 CRAWLEY TOWN 0
Tranmere ended a run of six straight defeats with this victory for only their fourth home league win of the season. 3 got this spot-on, and a further 10 had the outcome.

Home wins were the flavour of the week. with 139 (82.74%) of the weeks 168 predictions going for the hosts to win. Only four teams read the script, and they produced the weeks 18 spot-ons. There was not much in the way of reward for those who opposed the home teams in the other three games, as they only achieved six outcomes in total. There is no doubting about this weeks top performer, as Lewis_1 was the only one to get three 3 pointers, the wins for Derby, Cardiff and Cambridge, and two outcomes, to give him an absolutely brilliant 11 points. Three members did well to get two 3 pointers, with the best coming from wessex_exile, who had the 3-1 wins for Cardiff and Cambridge, and three outcomes, to give him an excellent 9 points. Also BFG who got a very decent 8 points by going 2-0 all games, and Tropical_Us, who got the wins for Derby and and Cambridge, and one outcome, to give him a decent 7 points. Best of those to have one 3 pointer were gerry_us, who got the Cambridge 3-1, and Madeira163, who had the Cardiff 3-1. They each also got four outcomes, to give them both a decent 7 points.

In the Premier Four outcomes for concordman keeps his run at the top going, and despite having the Cambridge 3-1 spot-on, Sector4 could only close the gap by a point. Getting the Tranmere 2-0 spot-on keeps Jorash63 very much in contention for the DEMS. The next five places also remain the same, with the only 3 pointer coming from thrillseeker, who had the Derby 2-0. The main activity in this division came from the fight to avoid relegation. Getting the Derby 2-0 spot-on enabled bwildered to move up a place, and out of the bottom three, after spending four weeks there. He is replaced by unitedwhites, who had those same four weeks in safety. The big news in this division is all about the the top scoring performance from Lewis_1. It was only 8 weeks ago when he was 24 points from safety, a deficit that nobody has recovered from before at that stage of the season. But after a good run of scores in low scoring weeks, and this weeks great effort, he has now reduced that figure to 6 points, and only failed to move up a place on the most 3 pointer rule.

In Division One By having the Cambridge 3-1 spot-on noah4x4 increased his lead to a new high of 33 points. The race for the title maybe sewn up, but the competition for the other automatic spot, and play-off places, could not be any closer. Four outcomes were enough for durham_exile to remain second, but it is now only 2 points back to Tropical_Us in third, after his decent week moved him up place. It is then just a point back to basher2010 in fourth, and BFG in fifth, after his decent week moved him up a place. The excellent week for wessex_exile moved him up three places, and into the final play-off spot, but only on the most 3 pointer rule from gerry_us. Despite having the Cardiff 3-1 spot-on, oxfcolu drops three places, but with things being so tight, is still only within 2 points of the play-offs.

THE TABLES (210 out of 280 played)
(Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post)

Week 30 Fixtures
