Nah, but it helps the sculptor do a much better job if rigor mortis has set in. [Post edited 28 May 22:20]

And Leeds aren't! Top half finish will suit me next season. |

Suppose we will have to keep Russell now. Well done! |

Yeah, well done. No shame in making the final and no team I'd want to beat more than Leeds. On y va! |

Hopeless. 42.9% possession. Sack the lot of them. Oh, wait a minute; we won! A win against Leeds at any time is like an unexpected tax rebate- a welcome delight. |

No. Taking the Law into your own hands and killing people is not excusable. |

If I thought for one minute that we could beat them then I would be overjoyed but we have forwards that couldn't hit a barn door, keepers who couldn't catch a bus and a manager who couldn't run a bath so we're stuffed. I wish that it were not so. |

Not so much a transfer fee but there will be competition in the market for the services of Adrian Newey, The best F1 car designer since Colin Chapman and quite likely the best of all time. Ferrari will pay any money to get him for the 2026 season, having secured the services of Sir Lewis Hamilton so I reckon that Mr. Newey can look forward to a lucrative bidding war (at which point the absolutely corrupt FIA will change the design rules again!) |

"It would be madness to make radical changes to our style of play just for the play offs."NO IT FUUCKING WOULDN'T! As it stands, we have as much chance of going up as I have of flying to Mars. Something better change. |

Don't worry GRIM, we won't. Living on the cheap for too long has come home to roost. Half of the team borrowed and not bought, Very poor decisions - I know, let's save a few bob by buying a broken striker. Sheer business incompetence from people who have read every book about business methodology but still haven't gained any business ability. I worked for a company where that was the way. They bought cheap staff including of course their managers. Cheap managers are cheap for a reason. They were not good enough for their pevious employer to want to keep them. Garbage in, garbage out. So it is with what used to be a football club. |

Southampton have been strangely lacklustre, ineffective on the ball and all too often happy to cough possession up cheaply. (BBC) Yeah, and that was exactly what we all expected. |
