A bone fide genius somewhere needs to find the root cause of this team’s inconsistency. A Leicester performance one day and then a performance today fitting of the pitch. Too many days like today this season and they appear to be on the increase. |

Caught freezing cold again at the beginning of the second half. Great wing play to be fair but that ball shouldn’t have reached the goal scorer. Wakey Wakey Rangers, come on! I really hope they haven’t got next Sunday on their minds. |

Thanks Ref, time to get the Kettle on! Just seen that Paul Smyth has signed again, I for one am very pleased with that. |

Those were the days! In hindsight it was probably a mistake to allow The Battle of Agincourt reenactment society use the pitch for their Christmas event. |

Happy New Year everyone! Pitch is a bit embarrassing. I know under the Ellerslie is always a problem but the issues look bigger, worse and have arrived earlier than usual which reflects badly on the company responsible. |

Agreed. Perhaps Smyth is on his way in January and that is why he isn't being played. [Post edited 29 Dec 2025 22:32]

You are right Dave, the fixture schedule is awful this time of year. However, there are other ways of managing minutes. There is no reason why we can't start the same team and try to get off to a good start and make changes at half time, early second half. With good coaching and preparation players coming on should be able to do the same job as the player they are replacing. We have to try and break this cycle of good performance / bad performance because it is soul destroying and costing us too many points. |

I thought overall the defence were poor, looked like conceding every time the ball was floated in to our area. |

Looking on the bright side at least WBA were poor, a decent team would have spanked us tonight. Strange line up, strange set up, substitutions late and not positive enough, no wonder Smyth isn't signing a new deal if he can't get a game. [Post edited 29 Dec 2025 22:42]

There should be changes soon, Poku shouldn't play more than an hour. Smythe and Burrell should cause them problems.. |

Well that wasn't boringly predictable. Great header Jimmy. Come on boys, buck the trend! |

None of us should be surprised at this, it's what we do. Boringly predictable. |

I hope the actor playing Mozart is better than Tom Hulce! Worth watching for the music alone. |

100% Bobby Gould, at the time the media said that he arrived at QPR with his little black book which listed all of the players that had impressed him. I was at the game but my memory of it is very different. Peacock was superb! He had arrived from Hereford who were two or three divisions below us and he marked the experienced Derby striker, Mick Harford, out of the game. Tilson was poor, I remember he missed a free header with no other players anywhere near him. He only ever played a few dozen games for us before becoming a Bristol Rovers leg end. |
