Up until last weekend I honestly thought you were the best in the league. And winning 7 on the bounce backed that up. However, you've imploded and certainly looks like you've peaked too soon. If I was you I'd have serious doubts about the mind set of yer side now. It's a free hit for us which makes us a different animal now. Yes you should start favourites, but mashing us twice will mean absolutely nothing come Sunday. You are expecting to get through, clearly you have little knowledge of how we roll.

Spot on. I've been unhappy with how he continued to make same simple errors in the late stages of games. Now through sheer bloody mindness/luck/change of tactics or possibly combo of all 3, he now finds himself on the verge of legendary status if we pull it off. Just hope he doesn't revert to 'old' ways coming up,and just goes for it. Playing against teams who play 'open ' clearly suits us now, that's Brentford. |

Excellent post...but....if the unlikely does happen and we make it, isn't it possible the owners would have had the most severe wake up call in getting relegated before, therefore making us a far more saleable asset in staying up? So the thought of actually investing wouldn't be beyond them. Perhaps when they took over complacency plus Huw persuaded them that we wouldn't go down?
Or is all of the above wishful thinking? |
