The Ashes 🏏
at 12:55 4 Dec 2025

England played that last hour superbly. Coming down in their whites, leading Aussies to assume they were declaring, bowlers lost focus waiting for the Dec. Archer with some very useful runs, make the Aussies field for another 30 mins/1hr tomorrow and it's there for the taking.

Although old adage of never judge a wicket/match till both sides have batted comes into play

very much winnable, but they have to combine Baz ball with sensible play. See Starc out ( easier said than done i know) cummins if he plays won't be up to full speed and hopefully will take a while to get going. We should have wrapped up that first test if we only we had someone who went against the current Grain and just dug in for that short spell when wickets were falling

Swansea City : Behind the news on Kim Hellberg coming to Swansea
at 12:33 12 Nov 2025

No, why would I? Just because I didn't think he was right for the role, doesn't mean i want him to fail. I'd want anyone in charge of us to succeed as it means success for the club.

Some weirdo's may be revelling for sure.
However I am one voice for sure that never wanted him to have the job full time and was very vocal at the time that he was not the right man for the job. Although once given the job i have let his football do the talking and it's stunk the place out. I'm gutted we are 18th with this squad and now having to spend potential transfer outlay we had lined up for Jan on sacking AS and getting in a new man.

Especially when the new manager if it is the right one will cost a fair penny.

I posted the below in April, and i still stand by this

'It's a tale as old as time, Interim manager does well until given the full role and ultimately fails. Happened to us with Clement being prime example, numerous times with them lot up the road.
We should not be making any decisions based off the last few results, clear heads must prevail and the best person available should get the job'

Swansea City v Queens Park Rangers : Match day thread UPDATED

Said before he got the job he wasnt the right man. There is a glaring difference between a caretaker with nothing to lose v a manager who is in the hot seat full time. The mindset changes completely

Stopped trying to attack and score after Ronald goal. Only 2 shots on target at home. Sheehans subs were terrible. Not good enough at home

I doubt he'd be on the Radar for any PL club as their manager. I think we it's safe to say we are safe of that risk for a while

is England away 4 day before the Belgium game a good idea?
Seems a strange game to choose before such a big game. The players could get far to up for the England game and risk of tiredness and injury. We need everyone fresh and England away doesn't lend much to rotation

WC Qualifier - Kazakhstan v Wales 4 Sep 1500 KO

Amongst all the hype of our transfer window. It's gone under the Radar that Wales have an important qualifier tomorrow. A tricky game made tougher with no Roberts, Rodon or Ampadu.
3 pts is a must

we can now rotate without weakening the team (although CB we can't really afford to rotate much) when we have 3 games in a week, where as before we were flogging players and looked shattered in the 3rd game
