![]() Friday, 5th Dec 2008 05:24 The manager of the month award for November was awarded to Wycombe manager Peter Taylor, with Dale boss Keith Hill narrowly missing out on the award. Hill was on the short list alongside the former England manager Peter Taylor and Bury manager Alan Knill, but he was pipped at the post by Taylor who's Wycombe side have yet to lose a league game this season. With all three sides being knocked out of the FA Cup in November, it was League form which dictated where the award went to, and Wycombe's ten points for the month, compared with Bury's 9 points and our 8 ensured that Taylor got the gong. However, given that when Hill named as manager of the month earlier this year, we went on to lose five out of our next six games, there won't be too many tears shed over the Chairboys manager getting this award.
