Wales squad announced for huge game in June

Robert Page has selected his squad for the World Cup Play Off Final and Nations League games. Swansea City player Ben Cabango hasn’t been selected due to injury but Everton’s Nathan Broadhead will be delighted with a call up. He has spent the season at Sunderland in league one on loan.

The squad features numerous ex Swansea City players and possibly one to come in the shape of Joe Allen. Joe Rodon, Ben Davies and Connor Roberts feature at the back. Allen is selected in midfield and Dan James is in attack. Rumoured swans target Ethan Ampadu is also in the squad.

DEFENDERS: Ben Davies (Tottenham), Joe Rodon (Tottenham), Chris Mepham (Bournemouth), Chris Gunter (Unattached), Rhys Norrington-Davies (Sheffield United), Connor Roberts (Burnley), Neco Williams (Fulham - On loan from Liverpool)

MIDFIELDERS: Joe Allen (Stoke City), Joe Morrell (Portsmouth), Ethan Amapdu (Venezia- On loan from Chelsea), Matthew Smith (MK Dons), Aaron Ramsey (Rangers- On loan from Juventus), Dylan Levitt (Manchester United), Rabbi Matondo (Cercle Brugge- On loan from Schalke 04), Sorba Thomas (Huddersfield), Rubin Colwill (Cardiff City), Harry Wilson (Fulham), Jonny Williams (Swindon Town)

FORWARDS : Gareth Bale (Real Madrid), Daniel James (Leeds United), Mark Harris (Cardiff City), Nathan Broadhead (Sunderland- On loan from Everton), Kieffer Moore (Bournemouth), Brennan Johnson (Nottingham Forest).

Wales will play five games in June, all within fifteen days of each other, the crucial game being on Sunday June 5th. That’s the World Cup Play Off Final. Wales are yet to know their opponents as Scotland and Ukraine are yet to complete their play off game to earn the right to face Wales.
